Sorry guys, but DC's voice has been shot for years. I saw him guest with Thunder at Hammersmith Odeon in the early 90's and his voice was gone then.

I also saw him on the Whitesnake tour from 2 years or so ago and his versions of Burn and Stormbringer were vocally awful.

He shoudl retire gracefully, put out the odd record and live happily ever after.................or does he need the money?

    Chris and Evelyn Spencer

    Thanks for the update Carl.

I shall look forward to Music for the Divine Tour Part 2 and PRAY that it includes dates north of Dudley.

The cynic in me says that we shall see having had many 'promises' before.

Here's GENUINELY hoping

PS Glenn, I assume that you are not able to play at my wedding then!!!!

Am off to see Paul tonight in Manchester and from what I can see it should be a good show.............................at least he knows where the North of UK is................(ouch you bitch !!!!!!!!!!!  )

Well, on behalf of all of us who live north of Dudley and especially my brothers in Scotland (hi wiessheim!!), I have to say that disappointment at the lack of dates is an understatement.

Whilst I am unable to attend the dates due to my wedding, I does not make sense having no date further north, when on the Soul Mover tour he played in Scotland and always has pulled a good crowd at Rio's in Bradford.

Its like 2 steps forward and G's popularity increases and then 3 steps back and the North gets hit again.

Is it management pressure or what?

If G can give us a true answer that would be fabulous.

Sorry for the rant, but those who have posted here over the years will have seen my past rants on not playing up North regularly.

    Amen.

    Hey Glenn:bow:

You forgot the warm up date for the tour at The Castlecary Hotel in Castlecary on Saturday 21 October 2006!!!!!!

You are on stage from 8pm until midnight with a 30 minute break, and you said you would perform a ceilidh set too!!!!

Damn, I am on honeymoon for THE entire tour!!!!!!

Would somebody get a recording of one for me please!!!

    Chris

Why do I get the impression I will miss the tour again due to wedding on 21 October and then a well earned honeymoon n holiday!!!!

Hey glenn, fancy getting a wedding band together for the reception......needs to be funky and soulful set list...........set list ideas welcome!!!

    Hi Chip

Haven't been anywhere just busy with work and wedding plans and step-grandkids and....and....and.... you know...stuff!!!!

Hope all is well with you !!!

I shall keep the faith and the CD in the player!

Got mine on Thursday in HMV in Blackburn - 2 other copies on the rack.

Am still listening to it and am undecided......there's elements of a modern day Trapeze in there, but..........may take a few more listens for final conclusion.

Whilst I am sorry DC is not well, he is milking the Whitesnake legend for all he is worth - is he short on money?

Saw them in Glasgow a couple of years ago and they were poorr.

RIP one of the great blues/ rock voices ever!!!
