Hey hey hey! I hope this will evolve in the right direction and you guys over there get a proper tour this year. And once the train gets a'rollin'....

Thank you, I will! Have been hearing news of me getting older all the day, don't really understand what's it all about... 30, they say. Totally unexpected and surprising. Well, I'll try to be polite and let them live in their illusions, I know I'm 22.

Theme for the day: Freak Flag Flyin'

    Glenn & Gabi,

I'm sorry to hear about this. Breaking into one's home is in itself a shameless thing to do and the impudence shown by these particular persons is just despicable. I hope they will be caught & brought to justice soon and all your obviously very personal belongings will be returned. Take care of yourselves & your feelings about this now.

No unfortunately.....he decided to save them [acoustic quitars] for the Spring '07 tour

Ok, so there are two possibilities: either he introduces an acoustic number for the Finland show or he's coming back here in spring '07 too! :p

Well, not complaining here, any setlist featuring his solo material is fine with me. It's just that after seeing the clips posted by David with Glenn doing "I Found a Woman", "Nights & Coast to Coast" I was soooo looking forward to hearing him do that live here, it would be übercool. He does it so well and it sounds so good that I wish he would do it. Come on, 3 or 4 minutes of vocal heaven... :singer:

One would have to be either deaf or severely emotionally restricted not to be amazed.

This all sounds really good and exciting, looking forward to the Helsinki gig on 10.11..

To Keith Thompson, johnnyboyUK, Soulmover05: I have quoted parts of your great reviews in a post to the concerts section of a finnish discussion board, hope you don't mind! The gig here (as elsewhere too?) was confirmed a bit late, just trying to let people know about it. Also put up a link to these pages, maybe a few lost souls will see the light... or hear it, in this case ;)

    All the best,

    - Arnito -

What a surprise this was. I really really enjoy JJ's playing, so disappointment was the first reaction. Anyways, I'm sure the show will be great, Glenn wouldn't want it to be any other way and these "new" guys are obviously very good musicians so no worries.

Glenn, Jeff, Mark and Anders: welcome to Finland, too bad you're doing only one show... :)

JJ, good luck with promotion and hope to see you live soon, you're an amazing player ; don't know anything about technique, but I can feel it!

    Hyvää syntymäpäivää!

All the best wishes from Finland. Thanks for being around and all the great music you've given us. May it never dry up, the fountain of youth you apparently use to make your daily cup of tea.

just picked it up today. (Tero: from Free Record Shop, Jkl) I'll post my first impressions as soon as I get to listen to it.

    Quote from Grace

But let's face it, any video or DVD of a GH performance would make us GHCPs a bunch of happy puppies.

Correctomundo, Grace! Now, who could suggest GH the idea that doing a DVD in vein of Coverdale's "Starkers in Tokyo" would be sooo cool... A guitar and piano/synth maybe plus The Voice.

Well, just have to wait and see what happens in GH world, so much going on. At this rate of creating new stuff, it's not only the artist who's about to need more than 24 hours/day... :)

Oh please do record/film these shows! Having seen the clips David posted earlier, I would certainly spend some to see a decent quality recording of these acoustic shows. I liked Coverdale's "Starkers...", Glenn should definitely do something like that, just an acoustic guitar and the voice.

Do you think this could be done or is it always somewhat complicated? Maybe even just something for the GHCPs, it wouldn't have to be a polished product...

Lordi's win was the best thing that could happen to this rotten institution that is the Eurovision "Song" Contest, apart from it being buried for all times to come.

There was this e-mail circulating a looong time ago about finns and our supposed attitude to coldness. A bit long but kind of fits under this topic, so here you go.

Podcast No. 1 was great to listen to, thanks David & Shirean! I'm sure this one is too, just can't listen to it due to my "no sounclips this time" - policy... Grrr, things you make yourself go through! Oh well, the MFTD day is not so far away anymore :)

What a treat, thank you for the clips, David. Great to see and hear Glenn go acoustic. I Found a Woman is amazing, such a beautiful and strong voice  Great interpretation, full of soul and warm emotion, it really moved me.

What does he say after the song? No comprendo...

I really really hope he will start doing something like this on his next tour, it's hard to imagine people not appreciating it. Well, if there are a couple of more acoustic tracks on the new album I guess it could be expected...
