Thanks!!
listening as we speak. I did not care too much for the new tracks on the last live release but I will still give this cd a shot as I have always enjoyed Whitesnake. Vocally, he sounds ok so far but i am curious to see how he holds up live......

will March 14th be the first time we get to hear some of the new material or will we get some teasers before that?
At least we have a target date to hear some new material

Right now, I am not listening to any 1 Cd of Glenn's but a compilation of his last several cds. I created a playlist on my ipod and it's like creating a new cd. This keeps it fresh for me and every once in a while a create a new one with different songs.
Anyway, that's where i am at.
Bottom line: We are all enjoying Glenn's cds
That's a good thing!!

Way too soon. What a sad day.

One of the greatest bands that the majority of music fans in the USA only got a glimpse of. Mr Lynott was a true talent that left way before his time.
Maz -
Yeah
This is a band that had a lot of potential. Even with the singer change from cd 1 and cd2 they kept true to their sound. Last I had heard Kelly Holland was singing in a cover band in the Carolina's. Sad, this band should've been so much more....

I have listened to Fused a few times now and I have to agree with John H. It does not grab me and scream awesome from the first few listens. Dont get me wrong, I am enjoying it but I fear I may not listen to it long or refer back to it except for a song or too. I compare this to somewhere in between 7th Star and Dep Sessions.
Again, Glenn and Tony perform great but I'm not quite sure how this will stand up over the course of time in the body of work that Glenn has. Somewhere in the bottom half in my opinion.
I will listen to it. I will enjoy it. I will most likely forget it.

AOR Heaven at http://www.aorheaven.com has been great to deal with. I've dealt with Georg(the owner) for a number of years for cds and he delivers quick. Prices are reasonable as well. If there is something you want ask and he usually can get it.

WOW!!! Each of Glenn's recent cds climb closer and closer to what alot of us have been waiting for. Each release gives us more and more of a tease of the funk. These clips show what a great promise the new cd has. To heck with anticipating the holidays. Bring on the end of January and Glenn's new cd!!!

Hope you're doing ok. It's never easy to see a loved one leave. I raise my glass to your dog Girl and salute

Thanks Todd!!
So much to look forward to over the coming months. And me thinks I sensed a possible US tour?
How cool would that be!!

Sorry David but I have to agree with Tero. I've listened to the cd now a few times and while it is heavy it is no Slayer or Metallica. If I was going to nail the sound to one band it would be Judas Priest-especially on Dying to Live. It has a "Breaking the Law" vibe to it.
I will admit it has a sound we are not used to from Glenn. The guitar work is definitely classic 80's metal. Though there is more to it than just 80's metal.
Overall, I'm not sure what I think of it yet. I kind of like it and at the same time feel like I shouldn't(?) Glenn's voice is definitely in the Seventh Star mode here which I love so it's good to hear that again.
Not a sound I would like to hear all the time but a nice change of pace.

Cant wait. Hopefully we se this in 2004 not 2005.

Good stuff!!!!
Thanks Todd!!
