Foxboro last night was AWESOME. What a show. i t will never be forgotten. I was great to hear alot of the new material live with just the right taste of tunes from the past. Encore was Soul Mover and Burn ended the set.
Glenn puts alot of the younger acts to shame. They could learn alot about firing up an crowd.
I was/am blown away. Cant wait for the next chance to see him live
Big thanks to Glenn for coming to New England
THANK YOU!!

anyone know what to expect from Glenn for a playlist? Also, if anyone knows when Glenn might hit the stage in Foxboro that would be great. I'm trying to let the babysitter know when to expect me home after the show. Thanks in advance for any help

This one is tough for me but seeing as it is a Glenn hughes forum:
Vocals: Glenn Hughes
Bass: Tony Franklin
Guitar: Stevie Salas
Guitar: Richie Kotzen
Drums: Carmine Appice

Heart Like A wheel is simply intense. Glenn's vocals mixed with Tommy's guitar playing never get old. A close second was Angry Heart/In Memory

Yeah, what they said.........................Happy b-day

Mine was a combo: I was/is a Gary Moore fan and had just finished listening to Run For cover when Seventh Star came out. Hearing the amazing vocals of this guy named Glenn Hughes I had to search out more of his music which led me to Purple and Trapeze. I was hooked ever since

My heart skipped a beat for a second there. I'm waiting for that one artist who lists a release date and puts it out SOONER that expected rather than later.

Nice
I'm going there to be added. Thanks for the tip!!!

This is an easy one for me seeing as though I have only had the priviledge of seeing Glenn live once - The Velvet Sessions at the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel in Orlando Florida (Thanks David)!!
As I've said before, it is tough living on the upper half of the east coast. Opportunities are few and far between to catch Glenn live but I'm hoping this is the year. Luckily, I dont have to say that about the Red Sox anymore!! (Sorry, Cubs fans......)

I disagree. I think some of his best singing was on a few of the Trapeze albums. In Deep Purple, I felt he sang well but had at times oversang swome of the songs. Not in a bad way mind you.
When he left Purple and recorded Play Me Out I felt he got back to the style of singing from the Trapeze days.
Just my thoughts and opinion.

letting you know

Alot of good comments on this. Bottom line: both artists would gain some crossover exposure as well as any other artists. It is kind of a lifetime experience. Definitely playing with a Beatle is a highlight for any artist no matter how popular.
