This is great news indeed. The first 2 VH albums are classics as far as I'm concerned!

Wasn't Tommy Aldridge the drummer on tour?

Not sure if this is the right place but;
I've thought a lot about this. Glenn has a huge back catalogue and has probably not played that much of it live. Who (or what) would you like to see Glenn play live?
Me, i'd love to see him get together with Tony Iommi. 3 albums of material there. Also Dario Mollo. I really like those albums. If The shows are only 1 or 2 offs, get em recorded!
Who would you like to see Glen play with? -
Just found out that Glenn played in Wuhan, China at the end of last year. I'm real pissed about that. I would have moved heaven and earth to get there...

According to an interview that Glenn & Pat did in 1982 that I had
on tape, Glenn had said that they wrote & recorded 20 tracks for
the first album & used the best 9. Not sure what happened to other 11.
Then in 1984 they recorded 6 demos for the follow up disc & also
recorded a song or two for Ghost Busters that was never used.
Hope that helps. Wish Glenn would put all that out for us as an archive cd
GalleyfanI know when Hughes/Thrall toured they played two or three songs that were not on the LP, and have not appeared as demos. One was called Wide Open i think, can't remember the others. Lost them in a computer crash!

Didn't know that existed! Thanks for posting!

I'm personally very happy Glenn will not be playing with Schenker. I saw them on the same tour in 2000, (Munich) and Glenn just blew UFO (with Schenker) away. For me it would have been a backwards step.

This is certainly a shock to me. Its being reported that Kevin DuBrow has been found dead.

According to Amazon, its due out on the 27th of November. Would that be right?

Just been looking on Play.com and they say they are waiting for stock. Has anyone received this yet?

Great guitarist! Saw him several times on the first Ozzy tours and you couldn't help but be impressed by him. He was certainly a big loss.

I had no idea this was so rare! I too have the one with the signature, and will be hanging onto it!!

Life just gets better! This is the best news i have heard in a long time!!

If Glenn and Pat are working closely on the reissue/remaster of the first album, why can't they do something about H/T 2?

Is the gig on 12th February in Bradford sold out? When i went to the web site i got this message;
"Sorry, but we are currently out of tickets for this performance. Please try again later."
I am in the UK from China for a couple of weeks and was going to extend my stay to go to this gig. Any info appreciated. -
Short and to the point. Gutted about point five though........:(

I might be wrong, but i think the Hughes Thrall 2 album is in the can. Not sure why it has not seen the light of day but i for one hope it is released sooner rather than later. Here is a reminder of what we are missing, a demo from 1982.

David, i must take issue with this point. Glenn is listed as Producer (with Fabrizio Grossi for Cosa Nostra Music) therefore i would expect him to have a big input into this. Quite frankly, i find it hard to believe that Glenn, as Producer, has not seen the finished product (or something close to it).
I am looking forward to hearing his comments.
