Its a shame such a young person dies. Michael Lee was only 39.
I also was fortunate to see him peform live several times.
RIP

Since Glenn is doing a whole tour of Russia now I wondered if any show was broadcasted on television (like in 1995) or on radio. Does anyone know??

AC/DC is playing Ahoy in Holland which is 'only' a 10.000 capacity hall. Kinda small for AC/DC. The last time they were here they played a 18.000 venue which was sold out.
As expected Ahoy was sold out in a blink. Many fans are quite upset why they play such a small place.
Metallica also play Ahoy in the same week. Tickets went on sale yesterday. Also these were sold out before your knew it. I managed to get 2 tix as did my friend. Hopefully we can trade 2 tix for 2 AC/DC tix. Would be nice to see them again -

Going to see Michael Schenker tomorrow night. That counts a bit as Scorpions doens't it

C'mon everyone. I didn't mean to get people upset here
Maybe I should have called this thread "What would be a cool package tour". We all know it's almost impossible for Glenn to tour the US, so maybe a package tour would be a solution... or a cool opening slot for a big band :p
I like to leave this topic for what it is, on to the next -
Hi Grace. What I meant is if there was a big arena tour. A combo of artists like we had with Journey, Cheap Trick and Heart earlier this year. Wouldnt it be great to see some sort of tour involving Glenn? Also a great way to reach a new audience!

Glenn hasn't done a lot of opening slots or co-headlinging tours in the past. Most tours have been solo tours. I remember a Euro tour with Glenn opening for UFO. This was in support of the R.O.C.K. album. Why Glenn hasn't done more support shows might have been discussed before.
My question to you is: who would you like Glenn to open for? What would be a great dream combination for a tour?? -
Cool review. Nice to read Uli is supporting the Scorpions. Its like Glenn opening for Purple. Which comes to mind, why did not happened that before?? Good new topic
Bytheway how was Mark Boals? Did he fit the role as lead singer for Uli well?? -
Tommy Aldrigde is a great drummer. Actually one of my fave drummers of all time. I really like his way of playing. A pleasure to watch. But in my opion he doesnt really fit in most bands he has been part of. I think the most he got to his right was when he played with Ted Nugent and Marco Mendoza during the 2000 tour. As a three piece they were as tight as ever
A DVD was planned for this tour but somehow was pushed back a year or two. They filmed the tour after which was used for the DVD released. A huge disappointment imo.... -
Hi Christian,
Its good to know we have more Sykes fans out here
I do not have the Bad Boy Live! album yet. I was aware of the release but I don't really count this as a solo effort since it aint a studio album. Next month we have the biggest record fair of Europe here in Utrecht, Holland again. I'll be on the lookout for that cd and otherwise I'll check Ebay for it.
I totally agree on the Out Of My Tree album. I haven't heard the album in a while but I know it's a great album.
As far as the Blue Murder reunion rumors. Yeas I was aware of them. They seem to return every year or 2..... and to be honest I think it's just money matter.... -
