Isn't it too small to go to Canne from Holland ?
Deep Purple...
Nice name. I think I've heard the name.
It may be a name of a rock band....LOL -
Why these guys don't team up together ?
Pat did have a plan to do with Glenn.... -
Basically the same.
But with more about ticket prices, some more names like,
Roy Ayers with special guest TOKU
PE’Z
Tom Scott & L.A. Express featuring Buzzy Feiton
David Garfield‘s Baked Potato Superband !-Tribute to Jeff Porcaro- -
Glenn is said to be perfoming for Mt. Fuji Jazz Festival held in coming Aug. In Japan.
He will be singing for Jeff Pocalo tribute band with David Garfield, Vinny Colaiuta, etc.
Other performers are;
Spyro Gira, Buzz Feiten, Peter Frampton, Power of Tower, Ventures, etc.
Glenn !! You come to UK forgetting my friends in Japan !! (LOL) -
Now I understand why JLT called the band as Tokyo Mafia. LOL
-
Some fan asked Glenn of the situation in Japan.
Glenn said to have said it was waiting for a contractual problem being sorted out.
It is said to have been recorded already. -

It looks like it.
The show is being filmed and there are audience behind the stage.
Looks like Budokan. -
It is wonderful !!
but it looks it was taken from the stage.
David Coverdale took this ? Or Jon Lord ?
Anyway, it's rare !! -
David,
Should you have another chance to talk to Glenn, can you ask him what was the most interesting item he signed ever. -
Rickenbacker is the one used by Paul MaCartney, Cris squire and others.
It is a super instrument. -
Yeah, they are great pictures.
They are surely in Japan because Glenn has a wappen of Murasaki Logo on his chest.
Murasaki means purple and was the name of a DP copy band in Japan.
Additionally, he is testing Yamaha bass.
I think Tommy did used Yamada on stage but Glenn didn't.
I remember Yamaha did some campaign using Tommy's picutre playing Yamaha after DP hit Japan in 1975. -
David, how you got these latest pictures ??
I have been away from Japan and even I have never seen these yet.
How ??? Anyway, they are wonderful!!

Tommy is playing unique shaped Yamaha !

In the center of the "flag", I can see a Japanese character which means purple.
It was actually a logo for a band called "Murasaki" (means purple)in Japan who was a Deep Purple clone band.
I also think that it is the picture from Japan tour with Deep Purple.
