I figure that since I've bought the album, if I now play it on Spotify that means that Glenn gets a bit more income from me. Admittedly, Spotify pay a pittance, but I'm still thinking that it might be a tiny bit more.

My first impression is that this might be my favorite GH album
Nothing short of absolutely breathtaking, sheer power and feeling.
A M A Z I NG W O R K!I'm thinking exactly the same.

Come taste the band: the album got a lot of bad reviews and comments at that time: but the album has grown through the years and the critics have changed.: Now it is looked at as one of the very best albums in the Purple catalogue. A very strong album indeed: it's so sad that Tommy died so young. Would have been magic if the Mk 4 would have recorded some more studio albums
It has always been my favourite DP album. Burn was a very close second. Both albums full of great songs. -
No, that is also a casualty
Nottingham? I was planning on going. -
Finally I'm sitting here listening to 'Heavy' at the start of my first listen through of 'Resonate'.

just wondering where people in the UK are ordering the cd from?
Amazon want over £17 + £1.99 postage for the deluxe version but it's £14.99 on HMV and £12.38 on WOWHD (used to be cdwow), both including shipping!
I have pre-ordered it (CD+DVD) from HMV. Too lazy (and tired after work) to check out WOWHD. -
Yep
At first I thought it might be David Coverdale. A quick google suggested no.

Who is the other lead vocalist on "Cry Freedom"? Is it Joe?
NB: Yes, I have some catching up to do. -
Hello all. I was a member of this forum years ago but can't remember my login name. And, it seems I used an email that wasn't my current one.
I've been inspired to come back here after hearing samples of the tracks from "Resonate" from Spotify and Amazon. Really looking forward to the album. It sounds like he's returned to his Deep Purple style, and the songs are top notch.
