    I just noticed this photo caption on today's (Saturday) Home Page:

    ......Glenn and Jon Lord, long lost brothers re-united in London
    this week, be on stage 2gether @ Childine on Mon/June 1..........

    I guess that our boy had to change his tune, from frequently mentioning
    during performances, that he's Jon Lord's illegitimate son :rolleyes:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    And what was that other Home Page "twitter" all about?
    "......My Brother David Coverdale told me last nite......."
    3 down.
    2 to go.
    Heh, heh, heh.
    ...except he still has his original hair
    Geez, Todd,
    Isn't that like.......the worst insult from one guy to another? :rolleyes:
    If this Mk3 reunion bird ever flies, I don't think that Mr. Blackmore
    will be sending free tickets to the concert review personnel of "The Fuze."
    As you know, I frequently call you our R&R Encyclopedia, and usually whine
    a lot, about the publication date for your book "Rock and Roll Family Trees."
    But I think I remember that when Glenn worked with Stewart Smith on
    his CD, Glenn found it more hell than heaven. Ye 'ole artistic differences.
    If it turned out that Ritchie couldn't exchange his medieval music to spend
    one night with "Marshall and the Amps" then I still think that Tony Iommi
    would be a great idea. Three reasons why ~ Seventh Star, Eighth Star, OOPS,
    I mean The Dep Sessions, and Fused. How else are we fans ever gonna' hope
    to hear live.....your favorite "I Go Insane," and my favorite, "The Innocence"
    unless Glenn and Tony are on the same stage together?
    (Short of Plan B: kidnapping and duct-taping the two of them, of course.)
    Well, I'm gonna' go watch my vintage "DP People" video, where Mr. Lord talks about
    the 1970s version of Glenn Hughes......and I wonder what the conversation was like,
    surrounding the GH/JL photo from two days ago. Betcha' that it was light-years different.
    Tony Iommi had to change his former 1980s opinion since it's no longer accurate.
    And now......Jon Lord, too.
    Glenn ~
    I hope that you feel much better soon,
    especially for the Childline Rocks concert.
    Go get 'em.
    Show 'em all how it's done.
    Dani,
    You must be mistaken since we all know that Shirl is only 22,
    and can't possibly be a grandmother yet :lol:
    Seriously ~ Congratulations, Shirl :rose:
    Wishing you and the new parents all the best.
    May you get some decent night-time sleep soon.
    And kiss that baby for all of us! :lips:
    Who's in the photograph on the GH.com home page?
    Glenn and.......who?
    Can it be?
    Glenn Hughes and Jon Lord?
    Glenn Hughes and Jon Lord?
    GLENN (formerly of Deep Purple) HUGHES and JON (formerly of Deep Purple) LORD?
    Glenn Hughes and Jon Lord?
    OK, now that I've recovered from the shock........:eek:........(not really).....
    I hope that Glenn used this opportunity to inform Mr. Lord that there are
    numerous GHCPs (not mentioning any names) who would kill for an Mk3 reunion.:axemurderer:
    And if everyone involved were to agree to get together for a charity concert,
    except for the original guitarist (I forget the guy's name)
    a replacement might be found; someone with a slight musical ability.
    Terry, Timmy,..........no, I think the newcomer's name is Tony Iommi.
    This might work out well, if "the new guy" practices.
    I seem to remember a while back, either here or on ghpg.net,
    that during the release of "Fused" we were hoping for a concert tour
    of 2 cover bands: "Purple Sabbath" or "Deep Black." And on the fashion front,
    it appears that everyone involved already has the required black wardrobe.
    GLENN HUGHES & JON LORD.......
    (Who'da thunk it?)
    Way off topic here - not even in the music realm -
    but I have to share this...the new STAR TREK film is amazing!
    Todd ~ this is a shocking post! :eek:
    How dare you post this message about the new "Star Trek" movie on gh.com?
    It's not like there's a music sound track to this movie, or anything like that,
    that we music fans (Glenn included) would enjoy watching and listening to.
    Uhhhh...wait a minute.....
    I seem to remember that our boy wrote a snappy tune entitled: "Galaxy to Galaxy." :)
    OK.....I guess that if you finagle things around, your post fits the "Off Topic" category.
    It's not like you posted a "You Tube" video........from the OST of a Korean TV series.
    http://www.glennhughes.com/fanforum/showthread.php?t=6139 :hi5:
    David,
    I certainly hope that Glenn realizes that: "Search is his friend, too." :hi5:
    If Glenn wants to put more recent photographs from his solo career
    in a center-of-the-book-insert, all he has to do is go through the GH Photo Gallery,
    located --> HERE. There are an awful lot of professional quality photos, taken by the fans.
    Oh yeah, like some fan would object to GH using their photographs in the autobiography,
    of Glenn during or after a performance. Yeah, right.
    Hey Mark ~
    I always feel sorry for anybody......anybody.........
    who's the opening act for our boy. But if I remember correctly,
    Les Dudek and his gang did a pretty good job of it, keeping
    the GHCP crowd calm, paying attention, and violence-free :lol:
    I had to look up Sellersville, Pennsylvania in my road map atlas.
    It's half-way between Allentown and Philadelphia.
    The bad news:
    According to Map Quest, I live 83.73 miles from Sellersville, PA.
    One way...........
    So I honestly don't think that I can make it to the show :(
    When you go to the Cleveland show: take pictures, write up a review,
    post it here for us, and most important of all ~ Have a great time!
    *
    While visiting with Mom and Dad in England (we want pictures!!!) :pics: :camera: :pics:
    did you happen to give them a Xerox copy of a
    "Deep Purple as performed by Glenn Miller and his Orchestra"
    piece of sheet music?
    Remember, if they had been big fans of Benny Goodman,
    your name would have been.................
    Travel safe ~
    Glenn Hughes has been playing sold-out dates around the U.S.
    .......and what part of this statement comes as a surprise to the GHCPs of the USA ? :huh:
    Quote
    .......using a variety of Gibson guitars.
    Anybody with ears that work, knows the rich Gibson sound.
    I still remember the Firebird that my cousin's band's rhythm guitarist had.
    Beautiful look and sound. (It cost $150.00 back in 1966.) :lol:
    And the Twitter offer went faster than expected?
    Glenn better get used to the end of "formerly of........" as his middle name.
    How about?
    :claphands GLENN (SOLD OUT) HUGHES :claphands
    I'll be wearing a black CTC (Coast to Coast) t-shirt
    and babysitting a couple of wack-jobs from this site.
    You can't miss me :lol:
    Chip ~
    We're all a bunch of wack-jobs from this site.
    I hope that your :ghcp: tattoo,
    adds a lovely extra touch, to your correct fashion statement t-shirt.
    Have a great time at the LA show!
    (Promise Glenn a ride in the Trapeze-mobile
    for more Trapeze-era songs at the show.) :rolleyes:
    I contacted http://www.hanbooks.com out of Los Angeles, USA,
    and got both Volume 1 and 2, of the sound track for this series.
    This is a great site for Korean and English-translated stuff....books, CDs, DVDs.
    They'll ship anyplace in the world, too. Even to Korea. Ha, ha.
    I'm gonna' need a ton of money when "Dae Jo Young" comes out.
    138 Episodes.....somehow I don't think it will fit on one DVD.
    For anybody interested in adding 2 CDs to their international music collection,
    from various artists, I definitly recommend the "Boys Before Flowers" OSTs.
    halfordvai~
    This 25 episode series may not appeal to you, since you're not a teen-age girl :lol:
    But the story line quickly shifts from just a story about a bunch of spoiled rich kids,
    into the lonliness of only having money in their lives.
    And the evil mother of the Shinwa Group, alone, is worth watching this series :eek:
    Watch..........and you'll get what I mean.
    Thank God, I've never been into drugs and alcohol.
    Except for this past week end, with my bottle of evil, green, NyQuil.
    Being as humble as I am, I should get a major award from Bloomberg.
    The great city of New York didn't appreciate it when Typhoid Mary showed up,
    coughing and sneezing her way into the 19th century history books.
    But I don't think anybody would have been too happy to see Bubonic Grace.
    It was a major effort for me just to crawl out of bed to make my "Yorkshire Tea."
    And the last thing I wanted to do was wreck anybody's schedule by passing along
    this cold / flu to them, whether it be Glenn's or anybody else that I might have talked to.
    I'm still not back to 100% fighting strength, but I don't qualify as a weenie anymore.
    Thank you ~ fellow GHCPs ~ for the GH.com and AOL e-mails.
    Betcha' everybody thought I was in jail, huh?
    PS......Message to Glenn ~
    You know how sorry I am that I missed these 2 shows.
    But I hope that you noticed that your audience was ONCE AGAIN,
    packed in like sardines at the Highline Ballroom. While the bad news
    for us GHCPs is that with every New York appearance, our hopes of
    "The Living Room Tour" gets smaller, your New York audience gets bigger.
    Just add enough publicity for an up-coming GH appearance,
    and you can fill any place my hometown's got.
    Think that "Glenn Hughes" can't fill the 6,000 seats in Radio City Music Hall?
    Think again.
    Rather than cruisin' around Jersey, lost and confused ~
    (we like to hassle tourists with out-of-state license plates :lol: )
    might I suggest that you fax them first to see if they have what you want,
    or walk in with your list, wave it around, and say "Whaddyagot Glenn Hughes?"
    Send a "wish-list" fax to Sound Exchange.
    It's a very small store in a strip mall, and Art, the owner has a unique method
    of filing CDs. You need to know your rock family trees. Jon Lord, Tommy Bolin,
    and evil Ian Gillan are under "Rainbow." If you want anything "Vandenberg" or the "3 M's," for example,
    it's under "Whitesnake." You're better off telling them what you want. They'll probably
    have it; you just won't know where they put it. And they have a lot of used CDs,
    rock group books, and cassette tapes. Glenn has his own small section, under "Hughes."
    Don't be fooled by the name Vintage Vinyl.
    They've got a gazillion CDs, besides vinyl albums and records. But their filing system
    is unique, too. DP is not filed under "Rock." You need "The Classic Rock" section.
    And Trapeze is filed under "Alternative." (Alternative to what? I have no clue.)
    I can't even begin to remember where they have the "Tangerine Dream" stuff.
    I have to ask them to remind me where TD is, each time that I go there. Ha, ha.
    This place is the biggest store of the 3. Send them a fax, too.
    Call up Phil at Zig Zag Records......PERSONALLY.
    Somehow try to work Glenn's Black Sabbath appearance at the Meadowlands,
    in Jersey, into the conversation. Phil was there. He might then be able to figure out
    that "Grace sent you." :lol: But he does have a Glenn Hughes autograph, made out
    to him personally, proudly displayed and framed, and hanging on the center of the wall
    right behing the cash register counter. Phil also has 331/3 record albums, and lots of
    rock memorabilia. Like "KISS" dolls..........uh, I mean action figures.
    Zig Zag is my favorite, because Phil tries to find, whatever is impossible to get.
    Glenn should personally call up Phil.........for those hard-to-find Glenn Hughes CDs.
    I hope that this information helps, oh Ohio person.
    My husband was from the Youngstown, Poland, Boardman area.
    FY ~
    Sound Exchange is such a small store, and set so far back from the road that it's very
    easy to miss as you drive by. And try to have 2 people pass each other in the aisle.
    purple, I love you.
    But the street is spelled Bleecker Street.
    (I grew up in the West Village on Downing Street,
    located between Varick and Bleecker.......and Carmine
    and West Houston. So I kinda' know the area.)
    Poor "Pat the tourist" would go slightly crazy trying to do a Map Quest.
    (smithy55 ~ If you print up a Glenn Hughes discography, and carry it with you at all times,
    you'll at least know what you're looking for. Uhhh....it's a long list!)
