I share your sentiments. I was there for that show in 1972 at the Majestic Theater in Dallas. That show was a turning point in my life as a musician. It would be wonderful to hear the entire show again. I have re-played that show a million times over in my head..trying to remember every detail. Glenn, Mel, and Dave were frighteningly powerful

I agree, WAY BACK TO THE BONE...LIVE is a good soundboard( think ) recording.
I was there and Glenn was MANIC !

Not sure who is responsible for the jukebox...
But I Really appreciate "Space high" and "LA Cutoff" remaining. I saw Glenn play those songs live and it still brings back the fondest memories for me and my old bandmates.
Thanks again

Paul,
Thanks for the info on Glenns bass rig of that era.I am a total gearhead!
Any other info about that, or any other rig or guitar Glenn has used would be gratly appreciated. I can never get enough info in that regard. I wish I could someday talk with Glenn about guitars, amps, etc.
Thanks again!

AAlso..any info for us gearheads would be extra-special(guitars,amps,mics...etc.)

The other guitar player in question may be
Rob Kendrick...who at one time was working on a
demo @ DallaSonic studio in Dallas,Tx in the mid 70's...Too bad it never came out..it was superb!

Is anyone aware of any kind of biography about Glenn.... other than the Promo/Bio we all see from time to time.
If there is not, I can't think of a more interesting, colorful life to document...
Anyone???

I've always wanted to know what kind of bass rig Glenn has used over the years, especially the Trapeze and Purple days. Man, what were those HUGE bass bins?....Looked like Hiwatt amps. Also, what is Glenn currently using?
Thanks

HELP!!?? -
It is so wonderful to know that I am not alone in my obsession with Glenns voice. I, too am a musician,(bass/vocals) who is often compared to Glenn. I must remind them who the the true master is...The Voice....Glenn Hughes!!!

I just got my copy of The Alchemist..Got to be some of Glenns best singing I've heard!
But I don't see Glenn credited anywhere on the insert, cd cover, ...did I miss it?
Anybody know?

Tough problem..
I solved it by doing a best of from each era;
Trapeze
Purple
Sabbath
Solo
Live
With other artists
It was the only way...
