James (Jimi) Crutchley is his name. Aside from being a bass tech., he is a current of member of Birmingham, UK based band, Dead Sea Skulls, which also include Ash Sheehan on drums and his brother, Nick Crutchley, on guitar.
You may remember another Glenn connection - Matt Goom - after his time with Glenn, and for a short period, he went on to be the drummer for Birmingham, UK based band, Raven Vandelle, which also featured the brothers, Jimi and Nick.
Small world, eh :pHi,
He was also bass player in The Quireboys. Matt Goom was their drummer for a period aswell.
stay fun(ky)

I agree this is an excellent setlist. This was the first time in 100 plus GH shows that I have seen that he didn't perform a Deep Purple track and I have to say the set did not suffer as a result. He has now built up a superb body of solo work in addition to his Cal Breed/BCC/Hughes Thrall material and I hope this predominantly makes up the setlist for the 2015 tour.

I notice that DC featured 9 Purple tracks (out of 15 played) on the first date of his US tour. No 'Holy Man' though !!!

Hi All.
GH was introduced by 'whispering' Bob Harris (of 'Old Grey Whistle Test' fame).
Glenn also included a snippet of 'Black Country' at the end of Soulmover and included a mesmerising bass solo during @Keepin' Time'.

Hi All,
GH apparently made a brief cameo apperance in the first part of 'Metal Evolution' series on Sky Arts 1 on monday night.
I think these programmes are normally repeated.

is that David Coverdale waiting patiently in line.....?!!!

Hi All,
Well, what can I say - he not only played 'I Found a Woman' he dedicated it to my wife, Penny, for her Birthday. She was totally made up.
Another fabulous, emotional show in Nottingham with some tracks getting different interpretations and improvisations.
These acoustic shows have been really well received with the audiences aware they are witnessing something very special.
Thanks again 'G'
See you all 2nite in Manchester!!

See you all in Nottingham and I hope we get 'I Found a Woman' from the 'genius album'

'From now On' was superb.
Didn't play 'I Found a Woman' but hope he plays it in Nottingham as it's my wife's fave and her Birthday that day!!
Can you hear my plea 'G' ?!!
As they say...'It was emotional'
