Excellent vid. Thx for posting. They were definitely a force to be reckoned with at this period in time and with this line-up.

For me Mk3 is the best. I think that the voices of Glenn and David match perfectly, so I listen to Cal Jam '74 again and again, I'll never grow tired of it!
Totally agree here. Not many bands could compete with this line-up at that time. Cal Jam '74 gives testimony to that

Has a great review of this album with this to say about the guitar work:
"The guitar playing on this record is powerful, and is what takes this way beyond the realm of most commune-type albums."
There's also a link at the bottom of the review to download the album! -
Here's some info I could find on some of the members of this band;

I believe this was from a NAMM show. Such a shame they never did a full fledged tour for this album.

Just picked up live in Moscow yesterday. If you picked it up hoping to see Pat Thrall, I would suggest going with Asia Live in Nottingham. They show Pat quite a bit more on that one... and his playing is featured much more prominently than the Moscow one.

Had this on vinyl... bought it when it first came out way back when. Really dig Glenn from his work in Deep Purple and love Pat's playing in Pat Travers. Just ordered this on CD from Rock Candy. So looking forward to finally having this on CD and especially looking forward to the bonus tracks.

What an under-appreciated talent Pat Thrall is. Loved his playing from my first listen to 'Go For What You Know' back when it was first released... and I'm still searching for any instances of his performances. Thanks for posting this!
