The Deep Purple featuring Tommy is not from the Japanese release but from a pro-shot gig thought to be Hawaii or Philadelphia which is lost !!!!!!!!!

Great DVD I have the Japanese one which is a copy of the VHS release & a song short on the re-issue

Jon Lord has at varyiung times given different responses to Tommy's involement in Deep Purple at times praising Tommy as a musician & at other times complaing about the CTTB l.p content

David Coverdale states that they wanted to call the band Purple or something else other than Deep Purple but were pressurised by management / Warner Brothers into using the Deep Purple name

In fairness Glenn has appeared a few times at the Tommy Bolin Fest in the U.S. & gone out of his way to promote Tommy's mucic as well as keeping in touch with the Bolin family which nowadays consists of Johnnie Bolin (Tommy's brother) Tommy's other brother Pudge & his parents passed on some years ago
