Thanx guys :) Im back and saw whitesnake last night in Sayerville NJ for my BDay. I got to meet David and talk with him for a few minutes. I asked him if he would ever do the deep purple reunion one off or ever work w Glenn again. His response to DP was "if ritchies in and it is for charity ill do it" as for glenn cant remember his exact words but something along the lines that he would love to but quickly changed the subject to say that Glenn and his son share the same birthday and when i said the date his mouth dropped to the floor LMAO :D Anyway thanx again for the birthday wishes

PS Grace I FINALLY finished ALL the tapes and you will be getting a package within the next few days. Sorry it took so damn long but i wanted to make sure they came out the best they possible could :)

I too would like to thank Lou Carrier for everything he did for us GHCP at the hotel! I would also like to thank David and Shirean Harrison for all thier info and for a great website. Now on with the show.......

Ok this is my opinion of the show, I wont go into detail w set lists n such as thats already been posted ill just comment on the preformance. Lets start w JJ, to me he was very nervous often playing out of key and even out of tune on some songs. Ive heard JJ on many bootleg shows and ive heard what hes capable of. I realise that this was JJs american debut and maybe added to the nervousness i dont know but he didnt sound like the JJ i have heard before. I heard comments by Glenn after songs, like, "what key was that in?" so it was obvious to him. I saw a couple of frowns from Glenn as well, like when JJ dropped his guitar and walked off stage. JJ later admitted Glenn didnt like that. Chad on the otherhand didnt look nervous but played rather sloppy on a few tunes but did a good job. Ed Roth to me held the band together, when sometimes it sounded like it was falling apart. the second half of the show Glenn starting giving signs to Ed instead of JJ. and last but not least Glenn......... What can I say hes the MAN!!!!!!!!!! His voice was excellent and his bass playing was great. To me the show looked like it was like a vacation show where all the guys were just out to rest and relax and one night get on stage. Nothing wrong with that!!!!!! Cant wait for the next show!!!!! lol

And let me not forget the great people I met along the way!! Kenny&Carolyn,David&Shirean,Bill,Chip,Todd,Andy,Patrick,Famous Mike,Kat and anyone else that slipped my mind.

Thanx for your response David but i could go into detail and show you my emails that i did respond in time. As soon as the CTC email went out i sent my email. Also Grace is the only GHCP person that i talk to regularly and as far as our convos went she didnt even put a request to go because she already nu she couldnt make it with conflicting scheds with the holidays. So out of the goodness of her own heart she had asked you if I could take her place and your responce was it was if she couldnt make it then it would be for the PRESS. THATS what disappointed me the most :/ Anyway its a done deal and i missed my Idol preform. I dont think this is the place to discuss this and actually shouldnt even be here at all but i just HAD to get that off my chest. I guess sitting through Spider Rockets at birch hill so i could stand right in front of glenn when he came out is the closest ill ever get to see him :/ Also im prob the ONLY one in NY w a GHPG.NET bumper sticker on my truck. and all my varoius pics and album covers in my Rock n Roll livingroom. Anyway im rambling and dont expect a reply as this is NOT the place for this and ill leave it at that. Just kills me that i missed that once in a lifetime chance :/

Great pics!!!! Thanx so much!!! Really wish i could have been there :/ maybe next time i will get picked. Looks like all the diehards that post were picked. Im a diehard myself have been for over 20 years only I dont post as im not one for many words. At first i was disapointed that i wasnt even considerded, being ive been registered on BOTH boards from the begining. But after i saw the list i saw it was mostly the people that contribute posting regularly weather they have been around from the start or not. Ive tried to mingle with the rest of the GHCP BUT like ive said im not one for letters or long e-mails and ive tried the monthly chat only to go to a room to hear discussion on past events that took place a long time ago. A perfect analogy would be a new kid in town in a new school and all his new friends keep talking about past school memories. Anyway just wanted the rest of the GHCP to know i exist and i am every much a diehard as you guys. So now ill go back to checking both boards at least 2x a day and keep my mouth shut!!! :)

I emailed lisa and heres the respose i got

    Hi Vinny,

Thanks for your email. I only deal with members of the media. If you are a member of the fan club
you will have to contact them for information if you are interested in attending the event. You
can also contact the Hard Rock Hotel. Not all of the events are open to the public, however, the
Velvet Session may be open to the public. Joe Lynn told me that he and Glenn are NOT SCHEDULED to
play or sing at the Velvet Session on the 30th.

    I hope this helps,
    Lisa

So i guess they will be there BUT NOT playing

no prob grace the web addy for the boneyard is BONEYARD@XM.COM. You could also go to the XM website where they have a song request sheet thats XM.COM. One thing i MUST say about the boneyard and i know i may start a war w this here BUT they play NO led zep. I think that was a great idea by programming because american radio is already over saturated w zep. and to listen to bands like sabbath purple rainbow maiden priest and NOT hear zep is heaven for me. Anyone else think zep is way overplayed on american radio???

Got a reply from XM!!!!!! (Mark Logan) I requested adding "on the ledge" to the rotation. he gave it a listen and agreed it was a qaulity song to have addedd He also mentioned he grew up right in the next town next to mine HAHAHA (maybe that had something to do w reading my email???)who knows lol but i got my letter read!! and there will be MORE hughes on XM41 THE BONEYARD!!!!!!
