As discussed last week end with Mikey & Penny, Bernie organises his 3rd "Party in the paddock" (charity concert) with a whole bunch of good friends of his. The event takes place on september 19th in Tyngewick near Buckingham in the UK.
We will be there as it's just the day before Glenn's gig at the Robin.

Hey Kayleigh, glad to see you here. Welcome aboard !
Cheers from France
Nath -
We are back on the Riviera and would like to say a big big thank you to Mike Moore, David, Shirean and of course to Glenn & his band for the incredible evening we spent all together.
It was a real pleasure to meet Roger, Susan, Kenny, Carolyn (the birthday girl), Bill (Harry says hi...), Bart, John, Damian and to see the Dawsons again.
I'm probably forgetting some others. Hope you will excuse me, I'm a bit jetlagged
As I told Roger, that's incredible how the web can bring so many great people together.
Jerome did hundreds of pictures. We will post the best ones ASAP.
PS : the Zinfandel Rosé wine was a killer -
I just bought a very old issue of the French mag Rock & Folk in a records fair in Antibes. It features a 7 pages article about DP MKIII, a review of the Koln show and an interview of Ritchie in which he announces he is leaving the band...
I will post it in full with a translation ASAP.
The article also features this picture. Isn't he cute ??? -
Thank you David
Do you know if the full band will be there, including Luis ?
By the way, who's coming ? -
JOYEUX ANNIVERSAIRE GRACE !
Jerome, Harry (the cat...) and I hope you had a good one and sincerely hope to meet you one of these days.
Cheers
-
Wolfy, we would love to place a bid but I'm afraid it's a bit too big for our living room
-
Chip, I'm sorry to be so late but we had some troubles with the Internet at home...
Jerome and I wish you a happy belated birthday. Hope you had a great one. See you on the road one of these days
Big hugs from the Riviera -
Thanks for the info David. After all, 2009 is just around the corner...
In case they need a French version of the book, where can I apply ??? -
We just heard the news. Isaac Hayes was found dead at his home on August 10th. He was 65

And the review of FUNK (+rough translation attached) in the same issue of Musiq Magazine.
If you are interested in ordering copies of these mags for your archives, you can do it online here :
Rock Hard : http://www.rockhard.fr/paypal/paypal_fr.html
Muziq : http://www.dipresse.com/cgi-bi…e.asp?titre=216&option=AN
If you need help as the sites are in French, just ask.
And if they don't deliver abroad, I can buy copies for you and then send then. Just contact me by MP -
Here is the second one.
A one page intreview featured in Musiq magazine n°15 JUL/AUG08 (+rough translation attached) -
In the same issue of Rock Hard, here is a review of FUNK + its rough translation. Once again, don't hesitate to tell me if something is not clear.
I will also post the interview + review featured in Musiq Magazine.
Just have to type the translation. I think it will be ready by tomorrow evening so stay tuned !!! -
As promised a looog time ago (sorry for the delay...), here are some articles featured in the French press upon the release of FUNK.
Let's start with Rock Hard (issue n°77 May08)
A 2 pages interview & a nice picture of Glenn & Soulmover
I attached a rough translation. Did it very quickly. Hope everything is clear. If not, just tell me -
Congratulations Mr Webmaster
Don't know if our banker will appreciate Jerome's "shopping list"...In a few words : he wants it all -
Happy birthday Bart
Have a good one with your family and friends.
Big hugs from the very hot Riviera (35°C...)
Nath & Jerome -
Thank you Mel
Our heartfelt condolences to Mel's loved ones.
Nathalie & Jerome -
Glenn is quoted on the cover of 2 French mags. An interview and a good review of FUNK are featured in both Rock Hard (issue n°77 May 08) and Musiq (issue n°15 July-August 08). Here are the covers. I will try and find some time to translate the interviews & reviews and post them here.
Edit : ooops, I think I'm not in the right topic...David, if you want to move this to the media center, just do it... -
Thank you for your report & vids John
I'm a DC & Whitesnake addict too and I must admit that from what I heard and saw (you confirm it in yours vids) from this tour, DC seems to be in trouble with his voice -
Veeerry late as usual...
Happy belated birthday Shirean. Hope you had a fantastic one.
All the best from our rainy Riviera.
Nath & Jerome
