Can't say I am surprised about this, actually.

With all of the higher-profile Trapeze reissues that have come out under the Purple Records imprint via Cherry Red recently, it struck me as interesting that something like this was being put out separately on another indie label entirely.

Not to be a cynic, but it smells a bit like a cash-grab...

I pre-ordered Lost Tapes from Amazon, and just received an email stating that the release date has changed, and that I would be notified of the new release date when available. Perhaps this portends legal action from Glenn to stop the release?

In fear that the vinyl LP version would be restricted, somehow, I bought the mp3 versions from Amazon and downloaded to my hard drive, for posterity.

The songs sound fabulous!

I have this (download), it's a fantastic set of unreleased songs from all eras of the band. Interesting to note that 'Who Do You Run To' - penned and sang by Peter Goalby is the same chorus and similar title to the track from the Hughes/Thrall album.
