BUSTLE AND FLOW is the second powerhouse single to hit the digital airwaves from THE DEAD DAISIES highly anticipated finished album, "Holy Ground", featuring Glenn Hughes on lead vocals and bass guitar, which is planned for release in January 2021 on the Steamhammer/SPV label.
With a ferocious guitar riff created by Doug Aldrich, this pulsating track is underpinned by Deen Castronovo's massive drum sound, David Lowy's thunderous rhythm guitar and has a pumping bass sound along with a majestic vocal weaving its way through from Glenn Hughes.QuoteFilled with energy and vigor, 'Bustle And Flow' emerged as one of the last tracks to make the cut. It builds and builds and has great movement. It's about walking through the fear. – Glenn Hughes
The song sets the atmosphere for the forthcoming album which we can tell you ROCKS like never before! Glenn, Doug, David and Deen bring the Daisies signature sound, set with a retro style approach to the new music.

The Dead Daisies new album, "Holy Ground" is now available for pre-order. The powerhouse four-piece are Glenn Hughes, Doug Aldrich, David Lowy and Deen Castronovo. The release date is set for Friday, January 22nd, 2021 via SPV/Steamhammer.
Glenn comments:QuoteFrom the opening track, 'Holy Ground', we were building a strong foundation. Each song has its own theme, full of drama, emotion and groove, all the way through to final track. We gave it our all, focused, and passionate. Take this ride with us, maybe you'll find yourself in the lyrics.
...and Doug Aldrich adds:Quote"Holy Ground" makes me happy to listen to now that it's done and we've had time away. It's heavy, groovy and is a fresh start for the band. It has the guitars that you expect I guess, but a new direction lyrically from Glenn. His lyrics are deep and leave room for imagination.

Thanks for that last interview, I had heard parts of it earlier on but never got to listen to the entire exchange, it was great!

Really diggin' the last 2 singles.
Can't wait to pop the whole album in. -

Sounds solid, but I prefer Glenn solo, because of more diversity in styles. I like to see the Daisies live in 2022, for sure!

The Daisies are featured in Hamburg's city magazine OXMOX.

Doug told the magazine that his wife did have Corona and lost her sense of taste. So he played tricks on her, putting sugar in her coffee and so on. Really, Doug...

Look what the postman delivered today!
The cover of the vinyl is really really artfully done. The band's name on the front is in glossy embossed printing, also all the titles on the reverse. The whole album is kept in a deepish purple, probably as an homage to the latest addition to the band...
And, holy (ground) moly, the album is already No. 1 in the German Amazon's heavy metal charts. However, for me this is not heavy metal. I prefer to see it as the type of solid rock music I fortunately grew up with.
At least during this lockdown weekend I will have some bloody good music in my ears! -
"Mister Postman look and see (Oh, yeah) Is there a letter in your bag for me?" ...I swear this is the last time I pre-order anything...
Deeno left... why I got deja-vu?
Anyway - Holy Ground ROCKS!!!

Deeno left... why I got deja-vu?
Yep, that's really bad news. I don't like it at all, I would have loved to see Deeno live.
Some more bad news for some German Amazon customers: They have to wait a bit longer for their delivery. Due to an enormous amount of pre-orders and the lockdown, the current production is sold out(Except the terrific vinyl.)
Here is a summary of the recording at Studio La Fabrique. Holy (ground) moly, if you don't want to spend a week at that place, there must be something wrong with you. -
