Thanks to Ken for providing us these two great reminders from our hey days!! -
The sad thing is, off the top of my head I think these were Glenn's last real full blown headlining shows in LA, that weren't part of some benefit or jam session or something. Thanks Ken.. I knew some LA HT dates were missing in Fedor's Tourography. If I'm not mistaken, the place called "Rissmiller's " was better known as the Country Club, famous 1980s hairband metal club in the Valley (Reseda). And darn, that Hughes Thrall Eddie Money show was the night of The Who's "farewell" concert on cable tv so I missed it!!!!

I guess this thread is relevant regarding early H/T gigs with opening acts such as RATT. I just came across a video interview with Yngwie Malmsteen where he states his first live gig ever in the USA was as a member of STEELER opening for HUGHES THRALL.

...that would be at Rissmiller's (Country Club) in Reseda, California, USA on Friday, March 11th, 1983.

Thanks to Ken for providing us these two great reminders from our hey days!!As Glenn has been playing Deep Purple set for two years
it would be great if Glenn would play the Hughes/Thrall album live in it's entirety onstage.
Add 'Still The Night' 'Pay The Price' 'You Were Always There' 'Try & Take My Love' etc and the demos to the set list.
Time to push the musical envelope again Glenn!
