Does anyone know if the tour starts in Europe?

Introducing California Breed
-
-
California Breed is a new band; a trio, was always going to be, so no keys required!
Yes, thanks David, but when BCC broke up we all thought that they just needed a replacement for Joe to carry on. Now plans have changed and this is a new band which is fine. I was only curious about what happened to Derek. Now I just checked his homepage and he seems to tour with JB now. Well, that has satisfied my curiousity, don't need to know more.
Now I'm just looking forward to April when the first single of California Breed will be released -
The new band gets introduced on German rock pages as well:

Will the tour take you through the East Coast? I love trio's. No keys no rythmn guitars. Just pure music. Heaven
-
Hi,
with that name and logo I suppose the US market and the US teens is the main target...that would explain young - unknown for us pensioners - guitar player. So I believe they will start the tour from Los Angeles. As always, I'm probably wrong though...

Here's a short article in the German ROCKS magazine.
Title: "Life after Joe"
Very appropriate... :p

...the press seem to have a fixation that this is BCC MK II - well, I don't think I'll get into trouble by telling you... it certainly is NOT.
Now I won't comment on it further, as I will get myself into trouble -
I just hope the songs are there.

Awesome, just found out today ! Great name and can't wait!

...the press seem to have a fixation that this is BCC MK II
Nope, not really, I can reassure you. The article very clearly says:
"BCC was yesterday - California Breed is the present."
So far I haven't read anything in the press that could lead to the misunderstanding that California Breed is a remake of BCC. So all is cool
Any idea, David, if Glenn will be doing a press tour this time? -

Looking forward to them immensely. I arrived too late to catch BCC but at least I'm going to be on board this time.
-
A great logo - will look good on t-shirts and merchandise!
I think an "unknown" in Watt is better than a "big name" as there is no baggage and no expectation from a live audience of the guitarists back-catalogue. there may well be a few of Glenn's past glories in a live show but it would be difficult to pull off Burn or whatever with a 3 piece. In fact being a 3 piece could help Glenn in that respect as people (hopefully) wont be expecting it.
Mel Galley told me that playing in the 3 piece Trapeze was extremely hard but rewarding and fun. Not only did all three of you have to be spot on with your playing and timing but you also all had to trust the other members of the band that they could and would be able to perform all night, every night. As we know, Glenn feeds off other musicians when playing live and with JB and A50W he's got some really energetic players to work with.
I am REALLY looking forward to this. -
The short soundclip that I listened on Youtube sounds like heavy funky Zepp: like the Ocean of Houses of the Holy. It has a lot of power due to the drumsound of Bonzo jr.. I must say, that I'm looking forward to hear the whole album. It's impressive that Glenn, after his huge career comes up witn a new funking and rocking band, with a big groovin' sound. Glenn and Bonzo junior: a good combination. The kid sounds also very promising. And Julian Lennon is a nice bonus!

It is a Trio and that is a round thing.
A Trio has got it's own magic.
I love it, it is about: Keep it simple and focuss the energies to set the stage on fire.
And these three guys look very natural to me.
greets
Sigurd

...looks like you can add Germany and France to the UK stopover!
-
...from the latest issue of UK based, Classic Rock Magazine.
Can someone be so kind and scan hi-res, the full article and any other mentions and attach here? Thanks in advance -

Thanks for the update, David. I would have been disappointed if Glenn didn't stop in the country where his better half was bornand where he still has so many loyal fans.

David, is that issue # 194?....the Bad Company cover issue?
