Nice - and reassuring - to see Glenn and Andrew Watt so close together. Seems the two have already formed a close bond
Tried to get a video up when I got home will post it and pics tonight. I'm so fired up over last night and emotionally charged by the cause. A superb concert that I am so greatful to be able to have gone. Seeing Glenn, the original GNR guys, Steve Stevens and the rest was a priceless night out. I found myself almost crying watching the documentary shown and a woman in front of me was in tears. I now totally support the Dolphins too Glenn!

Great photos, John. Thanks for your efforts
Having seen the blues jam above and Mistreated, I wonder why Glenn is screaming to such an extent? To be honest, it's hard to listen to and he makes himself a disservice in my opinion. He's such a fine singer when he just sings 'straight', like in all of the 90s, and I wish he'd go back to that style of singing instead of the over top screaming, if possible. It hides Glenn's strenghts.
Here is my vid of 'Burn'

Actually the screams are great when I am at the show and the crowds go nuts for them. I don't mind them at all. You will notice the screams are a live show thing, most GH studio recordings have very little screaming and there is a good reason for that. Keep 'em coming live Glenn!
But it's increased live too compared to the 90s. He sings a bit differently these days. You will notice it on the BCC albums. More 'forced' singing if that makes sense, whereas the 90s saw a smoother and more melodic Glenn. Thinking of albums like Feel, The Way It Is and my favorite Play Me Out (even if that was from the 70s). Now it's pretty much full on all the time. I miss the light and shade.

You do have a great point . I love everything but songs like Satellite, Mean that Much to You, and Take You Down we need more of. The other day I had on Too Far Gone and I hadnt heard it I awhile , and it was like holy cow , this is awesome! Funny , last week GH tweeted about Rain on Me and I drove to a gig in the rain with that song on, that was cool!
I love this version, they all kick!
