Happy to be here!

  • Prester here!

I'm a musician from the past 34 years.

I started off as a drummer but, through the years have gone through guitar, keyboards and now, thirty-four years later I am happy to call myself a bassist, first and foremost. Well, technically a bassist since 1982.

Glenn has been a huge influence on me as a bass player. Other influences include, Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, Geezer Butler and John Paul Jones.

Currently, I am the bassist in a tribute to "Deep Purple" called "Highway Star". I am also the lead vocalist/bassist/keyboardist for an original prog-rock band called "Interval". All while doing New Age music in the style of Vangelis under the name "Calico Beach Project".

I'm very happy to be among you all.

    Cheers!

We all have a photographic memory. It's just that sometimes, a few of the best shots get left on the darkroom floor.

  • Prester welcome here on the Forum, it's the best place to stay as a purple fan, because it's easy, respectful, open minded blessed with sometimes black(more) humour, a place to let your freakflag fly, there are guitar and bass freaks here on the Forum.
If you are inspired by Glenn on your bassplaying your just of my taste.
And you've got the chance to play in a purple Tribute-band, wow, more mk2 or mk3?

I just had the opportunity to get a musicman Guitar Steve Morse model in blue burst with HSSH, with TWO singlecoils, you can fly through all purple guitar styles, Blackmore, Bolin, Morse..it's funky!!
