Did he fool anyone into thinking that that was a slip of the tongue, I wonder?

Anyway...good to hear that he gets along with Glenn, David and Paicey... You'd never know it from what the rest of them say! Glenn has done several interviews recently where he says that the Mk. III reunion never happened because no-one had the guts to "call the man in black."

And I believe Glenn.

2013 will be 40 years "Burn" and there are some serious words about a great surprise, ..who knows. Not in this interview, but in other pages.
Hearing the song "Burn" again and again in my car this time i'd say the keyboard solopart has got to be played real good, but live you need two keyboarders to play the final Bachstyle-lines like on the studio record.
Jon Lord was alienesk.
Derek Sherinian did it terrific on the BCC Live over Europe, he used a different synthsound that was good taste.
I'd like to hear (and see) in the middle of the keyboardsolo the noise of the hammondreverb like firing up a rocket.
On stage at this moment the keyboardplatform could move over the stage like a f...g Michael Jackson showeffect, ha ha!!

I agree. It's the least they can do. Life is short and for some, over. Put ALL the BS aside and do something cool. You'll never have another chance again. Finality sucks. This band made you ALL what you are. Have fun with this. Its only a one time thing.

Thanks for posting the Blackmore-Night interview. This brings back memories. I remember seeing Rainbow on Mar-6, 1997 at an old converted ballroom in Milwaukee called 'The Rave' (still doing concerts). The acoustics were terrible for this small venue (lots of concrete & plaster). I remember a Teac real-to-real running in front of Richie during the show.

TheSet list included: Spotlight Kid, Long Live Rock'N'Roll, Mistreated, Wolf to the Moon, Difficult To cure, Still I'm Sad, Man on the Silver Mountain, Black Masquerade, Since You've Been Gone, Perfect Strangers, and ending with BURN.

Lineup was Blackmore/White/Smith/Morris/Miceli.
