My copy arrived while i was touring in Scandinavia with my own band...so I was anxious to put it on when I got home on Sunday....this album has many more levels than the previous two, and consequently doesn't so much as 'grab' you as 'lure' you in. It's a great feeling, you feel that the album has so much to give, and that you'll be loving it for years to come. When you think of the speed with which they created this thing, it's quite phenomenal that they have created something with such depth and longevity. I think Afterglow, quite simply, is masterful.

"BASS how low can you go"... Love Glenn's playing on this new one...

Yeah - BCC 3 I mean Afterglow IS their best...so far...;)

Although I liked the sound of 2 better...this sounds like I always thought they should sound...:)

....I have to say, the SOUND of Glenn's bass, the clarity, the way we can hear the fluidity of the playing sitting just beautifully in the mix is just stunning. I guess a lot of credit for this must also go to Kevin Shirley - I don't think I've ever heard Glenn's bass sounding so good!

When I read all those positive reviews it's a shame they don't go out on tour.
It's time to cash in with BCC.

Thanks a lot for the link to that interview! Now I'm starting to get really upset with Mr. Bonamassa. I thought the waves were calming down and then he says something like this:

Who is "we all"? Maybe JB needs a reality check, speaking of himself in plural? And the generous "we'll forgive him" sounds like a priest giving his absolution...buaks! He's right that Glenn should've called him instead of going public but I really hate that arrogant "world star" attitude he's showing now

Somehow Kid positive has turned into Man negative within 2 years time... must be the thinning hair...I used to be like him too...:)
...perhaps he should have done more writing so he would appreciate the album - and the band - more.

...anyway I like his playing on Afterglow a lot! Perhaps more than ever.

Reality Check?!

One time he is a good mate with Glenn and all is perfect, but in the press he talks completely other things!

Too bad there wasn't internet as we know during 70's and 80's when "real" bands were breaking up....on the other hand...those guys always claimed communication problems and today those shouldn't be possible...:)

If Joe isn't willing to call Glenn would someone be nice enough to send Joe's contact card to Glenn?
