Kings Of Chaos featuring Glenn Hughes and more!

  • A spin-off of the Rock N Roll Allstars ~ Kings Of Chaos is a new live project that Glenn is a member of; comprised of members from some of the greatest rock bands in recent history, performing hits from Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Deep Purple and more.

The live project is made up of Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan, Gilby Clarke, Joe Elliott, Glenn Hughes, Sebastian Bach, Steve Stevens and also a host of special guests!

Along with live shows (to be announced), their first appearance is on the upcoming Deep Purple tribute album, "Re-Machined". Although Glenn appears on that too, it is separate from this new live project. But the band members involved contribute the song, "Never Before".

  • Yeah it sure seems strange with all the hints surrounding the past few days then David telling us not to expect anything soon. An hour or so later we get this announcement.

Is this THE new project Glenn has been alluding to or is this another side gig of some sort? He has been talking about writing new material and that doesn't seem to jibe with this deal.

  • I can't imagine it would be. I hope Kings of Chaos is something akin to a weekend job, a little extra money on the side, the way RNR All Stars was. Glenn has stated repeatedly how he's through with the covers projects.

I hope the tweets are about a new band.

  • This is not what Glenn has been hinting at in his recent tweets... it is a totally separate, for the most part, live project, he is involved with.

As for the other... as Glenn says... "it will be made clear later"... ;)

    Thank God for that

    WE WANT SOMETHING HUGE

  • Thanks for clearing that up David!!

The uncanny timing of it all sure brought up more questions than answers.

So now we have BCC, this new live project and still this other thing to look forward to. Lots going on in the world of GH!!

    Life is good!!!

One thing for sure: If this little side project wants to make some extra money, they should not take this baby to South and Central America... :P :D

You sure know how to keep your 'puppies' on their paws, Uncle Glenn! ;)

thanks for clearing this !

  • Thank god this isn't the big thing Glenn was hinting about.

I don't care much for this kind of projects.

When can we hear about the real BIG news? :bouncer: :bouncer: :bouncer:

  • Actually quite tired of these projects, and not just being done by Glenn. These conglomerations of people put together to make what amounts to a few appearances of mediocre music just turns me completely off. With all the side projects everyone thinks they need to do it's no wonder 98% of new music blows. And once Sebastian Bach is added I am automatically turning the other way.

  • I couldn't agree more with you Frank! I also hate these stupid so

Super Band Projects when half of the people invovled are no longer

relevent! I also can't stand Mr. Bach & other 80's hairband posers

like him. Just wish Glenn would focus on his solo career & a real band

if that's what he also wants :) More Glenn is not always good!
