...probably in late November 1970 as their December tour dates in the USA began December 3rd supporting The Moody Blues.

Did a bit of a google & unfortunately nothing concrete:
I can only find reference to a gig at the Black Prince on 10th Aug 1969 (coincidentally a Sunday) & noting that Black Sabbath were playing at the Wake Arms, Epping, on the same day, can only find reference to a BS date of 7th June 1970 - also a Sunday!
Do note that someone's written "June" above the clipping though..........and given the fact I don't think Sabbath were exactly 'big' in 1969 I would go for June 1970
