Ran into Brian Tichy at the Remo booth and got to ask him about his Forevermore Snake work and gigs with Glenn, and he mentioned all the DP MK III and IV stuff he had played with DC and GH. I felt so stupid when I first opened my mouth as I said I have had Chris Frazier on my brain and I said to Brian, I enjoyed him (Brian) on Good to Be Bad (of course I meant Forevermore), but he was polite about it and I quickly corrected myself. Derek Sherinian was at that booth as well so met him first time. Very nice, cool guys. Then headed back to the shuttle van (work (Yamaha) lets us off for the afternoon and a free ride there!) While waiting in the van in front of the Marriott I noticed Bobby Rondinelli and Glenn, Glenn was walking right by, so I opened the door and yelled "Hi Glenn!" That was totally cool! Will try to get some pics at the Laney appearance Sat.

Glenn performed live this evening, in celebration of the life of the legendary bass player James Jamerson with the stars of Soul music including Stevie Wonder.
Glenn sang 2 songs (I'm Losing You & Ooh Baby Baby) for which he received a standing ovation - the only standing ovation of the evening for what was an incredible performance.
Congratulations Glenn. On bass guitar on 'I'm Losing You' was Stone Temple Pilots own Robert DeLeo who really captured the energy and tone of James Jamerson.
A brilliant evening. -

Here's some pics from Glenn's appearance yesterday at the Laney booth. Had a very nice conversation about some voice stuff and BCC and got my book signed. Glenn was kind and gracious as always. Jeff Kollman is in the next to last pic and I'm in the last. Jeff was happy to hear that in my opinion, Sitkor was Glenn's finest solo effort and at around one year it lasted the longest of any Cd I've ever owned in my car's Cd player! After three gigs this weekend, work on the phones and Namm, I'm off to see Steve Morse tonight, there's no rest, I thank god I never lost my voice!
