Hi Paul J., It seems that you are really into House of Blue Light and Abandon. These two albums belong to my favourite Purple albums. Almost every song on these albums is great. HOBL is one of the best Purple albums ever made. Blackmore in great form (but I think, he doesn't like this album a lot). But who cares, as long as we like it

Think HOBL has 5 or 6 great tracks with a few fillers.
I like the slightly unusual musical style of some of the tracks and some great lyrics.
The Unwritten Law is another fav and can't fail to like Mitzi Dupree. -
