Purple Reunion Tour '85

    Amigos,

    For those who did not have the chance to see Purple live on their reunion tour (or have a boot ;) ) - here's the FULL show from Paris, July 9, 1985. I very well remember that Laser Beethoven they used during Ritchie's solo (at 0:58) - what a superb tour that was!!! :clapper:
    I know one member from this forum who must have been at the gig ;)

    I believe not many of you have seen a skiing Lordy or Gillan. And Paicey in his outfit just looks hilarious :D
    Three Purples spent their holiday together in Zermatt, Switzerland, before going on tour.
    This was aired on German TV Feb 1985, unfortunately it's dubbed.

    What a souvenir !!!!! I have the dvd from this show.. amazing ! :clapper: :thumbup:

    I still have the 1985 show on VHS, recorded from 'Rockpalast' on German TV (WDR). Great show :thumbup:

    The Zermatt clip is hilarious! Having said that, I still recommend everybody should read Tony Ashton's autobiography 'Zermattitis'!!! :D
