Man In The Middle

  • Playing Man In The Middle on my guitar. It's a drop-D tuning which makes it sounds very dark. Very Iommi, very Soundgarden if you lke. The riffing is pretty easy actually and it goes something like this:

Black Country Communion - Man In The Middle
    Tuning drop-D

    main riff/intro:

    e|----------------------------------|
    B|----------------------------------|
    G|----------------------------------|
    D|-0-2-2-2-0--0-2-2-0-2-2-0-|
    A|-0-2-2-2-0--0-2-2-0-2-2-0-|
    D|-0-2-2-2-0--0-2-2-0-2-2-0-|
    (repeat)

    breakdown before chorus:

    e|--------------------------------------------|
    B|---------------------------------------------|
    G|---------------------------------------------|
    D|-8--7--5--7-5-2-2-0--8--7--5--7-5-2--|
    A|-8--7--5--7-5-2-2-0--8--7--5--7-5-2--|
    D|-8--7--5--7-5-2-2-0--8--7--5--7-5-2--|
    (repeat)

  • Had no idea you played guitar, Fedor - cool!

Me, I have a custom built Carvin Strat-style guitar - no tremolo, green sunburst with twin humbuckers in the bridge - fat sounding instrument let me tell you...

    What do you play?

    -Marc

  • Hey Marc! Didn't know you played either... great. I've heard about Carvin. Sounds like you're a real shredder! I have an old Washburn N2 and a fairly new Gibson SG. When I grow up I defintely need a Strat ;)

    cheers!
