I really hope BCC make many more albums in the future and they continue to tour. IMHO Glenn is at his best in this band it seems to inspire him to new levels of performance!

Agreed. Fingers are crossed that this isn't another limited run project like HTP or HT, but instead is a JJ Marsh style decade or more relationship! -
I hope they continue as well, although I'd prefer they continued with a different producer. With each album he produces, I have to give it a spin or two to accustom my ears to the sound. I feel like I'm listening to the albums through a pillow

Yet another good review for "2"
http://magazine2.idrummag.com/issue2/page/168/ -
Well , my two cent on the BCC catalogue : we have two albums containing at least 11 classic songs - though there are songs like " Standing at the burning tree " which are classics of their own, so there`s no nedd for BCC two play DeepZepSab or whatsoever from way back ib the 70ies. Yes, i love DP, i love Zep and to a lesser degree Sab too but : songs like You keep on moving is Glenn`s song, i`d like to hear on his solo tour but not with BCC. Cause : BCC has the potential and has proven that they can : stand on their own and i do hope they will for a long time

Just stepped over this one. It's another good interview with Glenn in London, published June 12th, 2011.
(Couldn't see it posted yet and hope I didn't oversee it.)

An excellent 94% review for Black Country Communion "2" over @ http://melodicrock.com/reviews/reviews.html

I went to Germany to buy it, because they released it a few days earlier.
I could not sleep! And then I put it into my player and BANG! I was like: "Is it possible? Is it real? Is there any possibility that the album is that awesome?"
Then I realised - Glenn Hughes included.
And the sound? It is the way they feel and I like it. Every day more and more..
"2" is the real thing. Brilliant. -

QuoteThe whole album has a powerhouse quality from start to finish and to just call it "2" is inspired, I can't wait for 3, 4 and 5!

Yes and Save Me is sung beautifully by Joe.
Well yes, better listen again, sounds like Glenn to me -
"2" is second on the list, over on Eddie Trunk's 'Top Albums of 2011'

couldn't beleive i would love 2 so much more than 1. I mean I am not sure I can say it properly but untill LOE came out I couln't stop listening to 2. all the songs great but save me, faithless, ordinary son,cold...just mind blowing.

Yeah 1 is a great album but 2 is even better! The word is that Afterglow is even better still. Can't wait to hear it!!

This is the album that sucked me in!
I had heard of Black Country Communion last year while watching "That Metal Show". They all only had great things to say about the album and the band.
And they weren't kidding. When I got the album, the first few seconds of "The Outsider" sucked me into a vortex of musical mayhem and thrashed my ears around until the end of the CD!
From that moment, I was completely hooked on BCC! When I got the "Live Over Europe" album, I almost blacked out from the amazing quality of the musical presentation of a perfect rock & roll show. Every note played is pure genius.
I have to point out that I was seriously bummed about the bands' breakup, having never had the opportunity to see them live.
I highly recommend this album to anyone who enjoys high quality hard rock.
