  • This is an outsatnding lineup. I personally cannot stand Yngwie, but the remaining spots seem really great. I am especially interested in hearing what that Hughes guy has to say :D I also think Uli Jon Roth and Coverdale should be monumental. Gotta clear off some Saturday nights I guess !!

  • I just watched the Yngwie episode. They interview him for what seems all of less than 5 minutes then waste his time with all the other stunts they do and he just sits there silent for another 20 minutes. I hope GH isn't wasted like this. DC at least was on first and had a substantial interview. He was brilliant.

Hey John, I've been worried about the same thing ever since Glenn's appearance has been announced. TMS is not a very good show, it was impossible to sit through a whole episode back when it was only 30 minutes, now it's a grueling hour long. I do hope for Glenn's sake, and ours, that tomorrow's episode has some content to it since it's a nationally televised show. I'll be watching... :clapper:

  • Since Duff McKagan is the first guest, I'm sure GH will get the short end of the stick, so to speak :) He'll be involved in the "Throwdown" segment as well, no doubt, but not the lengthy interview segment, such as DC got a week or two ago.

The sneak peak has just been released, but only features DM, so that pretty much tells you how it goes

Whatever the case, the fact he's on, is good enough for me  How long have we been waiting for a genuine TV appearance?! Especially over this side of the pond!

For those that miss it, the full length show will be on the "That Metal Show" section of the VH-1 Classic website on Monday or Tuesday, so you'll have a chance to catch it then... well, for those Stateside at least ;)

  • Agree with all your comments David.

Whatever the turn out, it's going to be great for Glenn getting some national TV exposure here in the States. At least he'll be getting more than the 5 or 10 second spots he got on those "Top Whatever" shows on VH-1.

  • good to see the great respect they showed glenn last night :) the musicians the hosts the crowd-wish it could have been longer but thats the way it goes -

  • Yeah, wish Glenn's segment was longer, but at least they had him on...finally. As Tony G said above, everyone expressed their respect in the talent of Glenn. Even got a couple of mentions of Trapeze in the show also.

On another note, I was quite impressed with the rest of the show also. They didn't get off track with any useless b.s. during the interviews. Now if they would just get rid of the Stump The Trunk segment
