Both gigs were phenominal - I can not believe how lucky I was to be at both the shows and experience the power of this band! Amazing! A lot of hard work put in by the band and many people behind the scenes to maket these shows happen so a big congratulations to all involved for the success! Wonderful to meet some more GH fans just as keen as I am and to see some familair faces and reunite! Fave track - Song of Yesterday - this worked so well with the dynamics involved in the writing of the song and made it so dramatic live! Love the MMMMMM's - really got the crowd into it - with Jason pushing the rhythm on drums - Joe and Glenn's harmonising - the audience joining in and clapping to the pounding rhythm - it was brill! Sista Jane went into a reprise of I Am A Messengerrrrrrrrrrrrr - which was ace - the crown also loved this too and as an intro and an exit song Glenn paused before singing and the crowd jumped in with voices loud all geared up for the event and to go home to a memorable show! One Final word - WOW!!!!

'Wow' is a great superlative for last night's BCC Experience & one that will last long in the memory!
The people queuing outside the Empire before 6pm as we passed did not really need to but then judging by all the cameras/phones that were raised aloft through most of the set there should be masses of video & pics on the net soon & they would, of course, be in prime position
Joanne Shaw Taylor was as good, if not better than, I hoped - a truly great set of rocking tunes to get the right mood for the main event. It was just a pity she was restricted to a half hour but then she is touring again in May 2011
Highlights for me - 'No Quarter' (hope this is on the new album), Sista Jane , Too Late For The Sun & Black Country (brilliant live!).
Having had the privilege of seeing both Glenn & Joe solo in October this put a fantastic 'cap' on the end of 2010. I hope that those folk in the crowd that are/were purely Glenn or purely Joe fans are able to cross over now! -

Outstanding review from the London gig...
Quote...the band are due back in the studio in January – on this showing the album is likely to be one of the monsters of 2011 but for me the final gig of 2010 was one of the absolute highlights of the year.
which garnered some great comments...
Quotebest gig i have ever been to PERIOD!
Quote20 years of seeing gigs - all sorts of rock bands and the London gig on 30th was possibly the best live performance I have seen.

Thanks for posting the (link to the) No Quarter clip, Ben
Out of the many many great Led Zep tunes, they chose one that is in my personal Zep Top 3, if not my favourite
Sounds like I missed even more than I expected...but hey, it's 2011 now and lots of tour dates on the horizon already!
Cheers,
