  • i forgot to say:

Tickets go on general sale from Friday 7th January 2011.

    "Exclusive" pre-sale tickets available from http://www.ents24.com from 9am Wednesday 5th January 2011.

However, just been on their site and tickets for Cambridge are already available to buy at £20 each!

Having seen GH play both there and Northampton i can recommend those venues. Also seen Blackmore's Night at Buxton and that was a good venue too.

  • I agree with Wolfy on the chosen venues. I am not a great fan of the O2 Academy venues to be honest even though I promoted a GH gig at one once.

I should have stuck to Pacific Road with the benefit of hindsight. It's right on my doorstep and saw Steve Hackett there recently. (Long story). It's a stander but the parking is excellent and a fine venue which seems to be holding its own despite the cuts. Steve's been back twice now. It will be like my own front room, Grace :)

Our webmaster, Dave and I got locked in another room at the Roadmender once. It was a real Spinal Tap moment which involved security men with keys and a reverse locking system which certainly confused me. They did let us out for the first number though needless to say :)

York Opera House looks like a nice weekend too. As wolfy said, Buxton is a nice town and worth combining with some other stuff to do.

    Looking forward to this one.

  • As I set before: GOOD for the UK fans. But the dedicated fans on the CONTINENT want also a proper GH tour (as my fellow fan Patrick already said). Come on let's rock in Europe, please

  • I hear you guys clamoring for a Euro "proper" tour, but here in the USA we are lucky to get a show or two every couple to three years; and they are usually in LA and/or New York. At some point it would be real nice to not have to fly cross country, rent a car and room for two nights to see Glenn. Then if you want to see multiple shows you end up flying BACK across the country.

I know the logistics and economics of touring America are incredibly complicated, and it probably costs more to do two shows here than a full UK Tour; so I cannot blame G for not touring more extensively. Sure I WANT a US Tour, but to do so would be a bad fit for Glenn with all the difficulties that come with playing here.

  • Great to see so many Scottish dates again.

A change in set list would be great as to be honest, apart from Sail Away, the rest sounded simialr (or was it the por sound at the 02 Academy??)

  • My long suffering wife has bought tow tickets to go see Glenn on May 17th 2011. Anyone one else from here going ? would be fun to meet for a few ( ;) ) drinks before the show :)
