Hi!
I was an active member of the good ol’ forum (Fedor times...). Like Glenn says “It’s good to be back!”
Glenn is finally coming to my hometown for a gig in December 16thI’m really thrilled
He's such in a good shape, but I feel sorry for his band being the weakest ever...
Best regards!

You were doing good up until the band thing marcelo! Since you've not heard them yet, I suggest you wait before judging or is it that a certain band member is not with them
Move on...
-
London is a lot safe these days , JohnH ... ask Ecclestone ...

One thing you should never make is an inference, David
I saw Glenn, Andersen and Olinder last year in SP - stayed at their hotel (Sol Melia) and met Glenn and Andersen after the show. I sincerely hope Egborg is a better drummer than Goom -

Well that was just Karma coming at Bernie. Ironic though aint it?

Hi guys, I´m a huge rocknroll fan and new to the forum.
Can any of you inform me about the set list Glenn has been doing lately? Especially in Brazil tour.
Will he play DP songs?
It would be fantastic to hear him singing holy man, stormbringer, sail away.... well, all of the DP songs with Hughes are great.
Thanks in advance,
Lucas -

welcome on the forum Rock !

Thanks for the welcome guys,
Well i just found out the information searching for it, should have done it before asking..
I expected more DP songs on the set list, however it is great anyway
going to get the ticket tonight -
I'm not sure it's a good idea to have more deep Purple songs in the set list.. I really love the set list during the Europeen tour in September and October.. Glenn has such many great songs that he could do without DP songs.. totally amazing to hear again Addiction, Orion, You kill me, Can't stop the flood...
-
Agreed, they are all amazing songs, I can´t complain at all.
I will really miss only one from DP: Stormbringer
That one is a killer live -
Glenn just performed "Coast To Coast" with Anders Olinder on keys and solo with "Medusa" and "Catch The Rainbow" live on Brazilian TV
('Todo Seu' with Ronnie Von) in Sao Paulo - for those who are local, it will air in a few mins...

totally amazing !!

The band sounded tighter than last year. Pontus Engborg is a young monster on drums - way better than Matt Goom
No wonder why he was the most cheered member of the band, after Glenn, naturally
And the setlist was also better, IMO - loved hearing You Kill Me and Addiction
Though, it did not change my opinion on Andersen and Olinder.
