BCC - Man Out Of Time - Derek Sherinian Interview

  • A thorough interview with Derek Sherininan who talks about Black Country Communion, his inspiration, influences, solo career and much, much more.

    Quote

I'd like to talk just a bit about the new album 'Black Country Communion', featuring yourself, Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamassa and Jason Bonham, which has just come out via J&R Adventures. Now that it's out, what are your feelings regarding the record? Out of all the songs on the album, what are your favorites?

Derek Sherinian: I think the whole record is good. My favorites on the album are "Down Again" and "The Revolution In Me".

  • Derek's new solo album should be out early summer.

"It has been a very busy month in Beachwood Manor writing for my upcoming solo record.
The confirmed guitarists this far are Steve Lukather, Zakk Wylde, Joe Bonamassa, Steve Stevens and Doug Aldrich. Simon Phillips will be Co-Producing, mixing, and of course playing drums.
We will start tracking drums in the first of April at Simon' Phantom Recorders in Sherman Oaks, CA."
