I read on the internet that Chad Smith is probably going to be replaced in Chickenfoot.
It seems he's too busy with the RHCP.
Chickenfoot are going to record a follow-up and may need a new drummer.
Considered are Tommy Lee and Jason Bonham!!!
BCC Jason leaving for Chickenfoot?

No I read it on 2 different websites. It was mentioned by Joe Satriani, as you may know the guitarist of Chickenfoot. -

Yes, I've read that too on classicrockrevisited. How "nice" that Jason is being "considered" as a replacement Well, let's wait and see what Jason considers is best for HIM... -
it depends of the capacity from BCC to touring next year !! anyways it's possible to do the two things.. Glenn and Joe are touring now aren't they ?

BCC touring next year - just go, go, go -
...I can understand that from Jason's perspective....but then Chad Smith should play the drums for the new BCC album & tour....
oh..:and Jimmy Page should replace Joe Satriani in Chickenfoot for punishment :p -

If Jimmy Page was the guitarist in Chickenfoot, they'd be on permanent hiatus.
-
Lol. A shame that, yes. Too bad Jimmy has been doing so little the past few years. I'm sure Kenny Aronoff is too booked up, it would be great to see him in Chickenfoot! With BCC activity about to boot up, it makes no sense that Jason would leave his own band to go to another, but actually maybe it makes this kind of $en$e.

Let's hope not! -
I hope it's not true
-
Jason Bonham isn't exactly known for sticking round too long in any band he has been involved with over the years. What makes BCC any different.

Oh how true David. Seems like everyone is leaving everyone if you spent enough time online.
And, IF (and that is a big IF) Jason were to leave, it isn't like there aren't any qualified drummers who would jump at the chance (Bobby Rondinelli for one, and Vinny Appice for another). -
Inmost of the other bands he has been a hired hand,in BCC he is a quarter if the band and benefits accordingly!

I completely share your point of view, Mark! -
Joe Bonamassa has a 'vacancy' behind the kit now.................................

So they can tour together now. Joe with Jason as opener and BCC with Jason as main act. Easier for us to follow the tour dates! -
