Hi Trapeze fans. What do ya think about the new Medusa version on the Black Country Communion album. I like it a lot. Very powerfull version. One of the best songs of the album. But how is it comparing (in your opinion) to the original Trapeze version? Just interested in this!

I love the new opening twist... but it stays true to the original. I don't think with a song like this, you need to change it up that much, otherwise it would lose it's meaning. Similar thing holds true for Seafull, not that it's on the album
but when Glenn has recorded it on his own (SLITCOA), it's fresh but sounding familiar

I think it has more of a meaty than retro sound but still the same song and love it! It's been great played live with the solo band on the tour too but again different to the origianl and different to the BCC version! I don't think any songs are fully true to the recorded versions when you see G live as he is such an improvisor and breathes different life to thesongs each day - there have been subtle differences accross each song of the current tour set list each night!
