Thumbed through it just the other day, and came across the story about John Bonham holding a gun on Glenn in the limo, grilling him about his relationship with Bonzo's wife! Oh, Glenn.

Hardback cover + updated sections to reflect the changes since the first publication date... so 6 years on
-
Does anyone know if copies of the hardback version are still available anywhere?
Thanks. -
I was about to pick up the updated/newer "tour edition" from 2017 but I noticed it actually has fewer pages. Has content been removed or is the print just much smaller?

It uses a different fonts in some parts of the text, but there is in fact more overall text included as there are minor updates included. Worth the purchase if you can find it
Oh, and welcome aboard lemmy999

Thanks! I am finally getting around to reading it. It is amazing that Glenn made it through the 80s alive.

Ho,
I'd like to have another book about music he made.

I agree. The book is a great read (mainly because I am a huge Hughes fan), but it seemed to have big jumps in time. I would love to have a book that focused a little more on the music. This book focused more on the addiction.

Agreed. I wish the book was a little longer. The Purple section was fairly extensive on the songs but I think Glenn's best music was with Trapeze and his solo stuff. It's a pity some albums were just mentioned in passing.

It would be great with a sequel on the music, yes, since the first book almost exclusively focused on the addiction.
But I would prefer more music with Glenn.
