Well Sass Jordan was on twitter saying that she was writing rock songs...
She must be in the band as well! Rumor has it the outfit will be called Twittered Sister.
Cheers,
Fedor

Man I have issues - I dreamt last night that Michael Jackson was in the line up - errr - I don't think so!
-
Kenny Aronoff would be awesome on drums. His performance on Fused was huge!
-
Kenny Aronoff would be a great addition!
-
Almost too many things point to Joe Bonamassa being the guitar player in this new group for it not to be true. As for the drummer, I was also thinking of Kenny Aronoff after my first guess Mark Mondesir.

Joe is responsible for the 13th best song of the "Noughties" according to Classic Rock:
13. Asking Around For You – Joe Bonamassa
From the 2006 album You & Me. This is where Bonamassa stepped up from being a protégé to becoming a hero. Adding strings to a blues track was daring and risky. But he carried it off. Result: acclaim and stature. -
mmmm... the Bonamassa link makes sense to me....Carmine Rojas (played on feel) , Pat Thrall are all in the pic....and.....Jason Bonham...not to menmtion Kevin Shirley of course......

On David Coverdale's BBS:
QuoteQuestion: Hi DC! Is it true that you are going to participate in the new album of Glenn Hughes produced by Kevin Shirley and with the collaboration of Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Page? What´s true about that history? Thanks a lot and all the best for this new year!
Coverdale: Nope...I have simply sent my very best wishes for a very successful collaboration...I have only recently been involved with Glenn & Kevin in reviewing the new, & very excellent ‘Come Taste The Band’ mixes over the New Year...( yes...we’re all in for a treat, Boys & Girls...Mr Shirley has done us proud...)...I have no idea when it is to be released...
Question: Dear David, it is true that working together with Glehn, Bonamassa and Jason Bonham in a project jointly. We wait for them for Argentina. Saludos
Coverdale: Please read my earlier post...I am not involved in this project...only as a fan... -
More tweets... at least give us something Glenn, a member, band name, release date...anything!!!

As some of you may know Joe Bonamassa has a radio show on Planet Rock. The show broadcast last night opened with Led Zep's "Achilles Last Stand", followed by Trapeze with "Medusa" (featuring "my friend Glenn Hughes"). Then came The Band - "the night they drove old dixie down" and then Coverdale Page's "Shake my Tree"...
...what can all this mean - if anything?!?!
PJ -
Well all I can say is I hope the band and the songs are as big as the hype!

PJAfter shaking a tree Joe B hurt his achilles and Glenn had to drive down to the win dixie and buy a bottle of medusa

Now I'm not so worried about my Michael Jackson dream! -
I would share David's statement on this topic - it's fun lurking into this one!
Joe Bonamassa wouldn't suprise me on guitar - judging on the events of the recent quarter-a-year. The result might be a mixed bag imho, just as the LA live appearance of Papa & Joe was. Just a little bit too subdued by the guitarist... Then again, it's only one side of the coin - could go any other way in studio.
Personally I'd be more than happy to see that Glenn took the advantage of John Sykes leaving Lizzy and being on his own again. Sykes is one of my favourite axemans and I'd love to see what this two can come up with (hope they'd gel mentally better together than John and David C. did in the most explosive Snake line-up ever!).
A biggest surprise would be Glenn and Jimmy Page. I have no idea what genre would they pick up for their compositions, since Jimmy has not released anything new in a decade so it's hard to tell what music is now on his mind!
To me the most important is that Glenn is again in love with hard rock and that he enjoys his sessions so much. I hope that this blast results with something at least as powerful as 'Soul Mover' or 'Fused'! -

Joe Bonamassa seems the obvious choice, but he is on the verge of releasing a new solo studio album and he is due to go out on tour too! Does he have the time and the energy to create yet more new music with Glenn currently? I would be very disappointed if we had to wait until Joe had finished all his commitments to this before we could see anything from this proposed band including himself and Glenn.
Still not convinced that he is the man that Glenn dropped his solo album plans which he was very excited about! Still expecting a big name guitar player.
And why all the secrecy
Come on, spill the beans -

Speaking of which do you fancy coming with us to see Joe Bonamassa in Rotherham in May?
I really have no definite ideas who the others could be it's all guess work - Jimmy Page is supposedly doing solo stff this year so I'm not convinced about Jimmy Page being one of the unknown. It's almost as mysterious as whodunnt in Eastenders! -
I'd be surprised if there was a second guitarist involved, and certainly not Jimmy Page. I could maybe see him doing a guest spot on a song or two, but nothing beyond that. My feeling is that the group may consist of Glenn, Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and someone else. But I haven't got a clue.

Well David has hinted that Bonham is the drummer. If it is Joe fulfilliong the guitar duties, why did David deny his involvement when it was mentioned before? Over to you David
And why the 'SECRECY'!!! -

And why the 'SECRECY'!!!Didn't deny or hint @ anything, other than a particular line-up that was mentioned, is not it
As for secrecy, wouldn't be as much fun, now would it :p
