For the Love of Dogs

  • Hey Everyone,

I've noticed in Glenn's video messages he is often accompanied by the "furs." My wife and I have recently adopted a new dog from a rescue agency. "Bruster" is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who came into rescue with a broken hip and two bad knees. After a few surgeries he is a healthy and happy 2-year old pup, and really enjoys his new-found mobility.

My last pooch was a rescued greyhound who passed away five years ago at the age of fifteen...afterwards we hesistated for a long time to bring another dog into our lives. However, the joy and fun Bruster has brought to us is something special.

If you have a place in your heart and home, don't forget all of the wonderful canine companions out there waiting for someone to love. Your selflessness will certainly be rewarded ten times over!

  • I second that Carolyn.

Chuy and I will be "camping out" on the floor of our almost empty house for the last time tonight.

For all you newbies, Chuy is our Chihuahua. For quite a while he was known as the dog that had more Glenn Hughes t-shirts than us human fans :)

  • When I lived in Kimberly's house in Churchville, I shared the house with her and the 8 cats and grew to love them as if they were my own. I miss them a lot..but will get to see them when I drive down to Virginia in the morning....I have to do some work on the townhouse since we are getting it ready to be sold.

She had Mister Man and Miss Kitty, two siblings for 17 years...they spent every day of their lives together. Along the way she got Peachy and Reggie..and Butter, Daddy Cat, Momma Cat, and Sylvia....Sasha came along later and her husband brought Minky and Jack to live there....and they recently adopted Simon, another stray kitten.

When I move into something closer to a permanent living situation I will certainly get a pet or two..their love is unconditional.....

I find that statement hard to believe,
    without photographic proof.

#1. Only when you get a chance / near a computer
#2. Hope that things are working out house-wise
