• Ah yes..who could forget Bloodrock? They came out of the Houston area and shared producers (Terry Knight) and numerous shows with Grand Funk Railroad. Their live album was recorded in part at a show in Chicago where they opened for Grand Funk., whose own set was recorded and one track would eventually be released in 2002 as part of the "Live: The 1971 Tour" CD.

    I think most people remember them for their death rock classic "DOA" but they released probably half a dozen albums and even turned into a jazz rock outfit towards the end of their career.

    The band reunited a few years back to perform a benefit show for Steve Hill, who was fighting cancer. And that poster is pretty cool!
