STAR FM - the home of classic rock in Bulgaria

17th March 2008 is the birth date of STAR FM - the first radio station of its kind in Bulgaria. The radio of the real classic rock hits by Deep Рurple, Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Queen, Rainbow and Whitesnake - the kind of music that needs no recommendations.

The first voice to ever sound on air will be the one of Glenn Hughes. We know the man who has been the core of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, and is a legend himself, is the only person to be trusted to give the start - and his blessing - to a real BIG new beginning.

And that's all you will hear… rock. Sometimes the rock will be a little softer like some great hits by Bob Dylan. Sometimes the rock will be harder, like Metallica. Occasionally, you will hear some great rock oldies by artists like The Monkees or The Beach Boys. Whatever you hear, it will be some kind of rock - the one to make your heart sing, and make your neighbors jealous. STAR FM is Bulgaria's adult rock specialist.

Our target is adults over the age of 35. This is the audience that will really appreciate rock music from back when rock was truly great. Everything is genuine here - no phony sounding announcers, no crazy DJs. Just real people that will keep you entertained and informed.
