  • I've been thinking about that Love Communion song.
How something can be mature, sophisticated, and yet nufunky enough to where you can't help moving to it ...where you feel the funkiness of it.. I really loved it, I think it's instant timeless, and I also am usually one that lets music grow on me. Timeless I think. The way GREAT music can be, and so seldom is.
Yes, I believe I was listening to the first cut of my new favorite soon to be obtained and then worn the *&&% out CD.
I'll second my wife's Yee Haw. (you know, cause we know "Y'all" think we actually Yee Haw.... :)
    GREAT SONG, brother

And that was the shorter 'radio' version  imagine what the full length song will do for us  Can't wait

  • Love Communion
Sounds fantastic even in super-compressed 64k mp3 quality...
Can't wait to hear the whole thing in CD qualiy!!!
Nevertheless it's on repeat in my WinAmp.

if glenn plays with ringo over here it will get him some real good coverage

Definitely! It's a well known fact that Ringo only chooses musicians who are a) of the highest calibre musically and b) to borrow a phrase that Howard Jones used to introduce Ian Hunter on the 2004 All Starr Tour, are "diamond geezers".
Plus, Ringo always has the funky pair of Sheila E. and Mark Rivera in the band...

    Let's wait and see.

    Cheers,
    Christian

  • ... Ringo's just not good enough to play on the same stage as Glenn Hughes. And I'm a drummer from Liverpool...

I'm now moving to a commune in Outer Mongolia to avoid the inevitable flak I will get for that comment... but there you go... you heard it here first...

    Al the Brave ;)

p.s., COOL interview, and WHAT A TRACK THAT WAS!!

Keep the faith, 'cos that's the way it is...
