Moonstone Project, Fano, Italy Pix & Clips

  • Yes, Jerome and I were there. We are just back home. What I can tell you right now is that the venue was wonderful (just like a small Shepherds Bush). The acoustics in the venue were great and Papa gave us a great evening including a splendid version of "Seafull". I was in tears as it was the first time I heard it live. Matt and his band where great too. They had lots of fun all together on stage and it really showed.

The only "problem" was the audience. Only people at the balconies were extatic. The seated ones did not react at all. They remained seated during the whole gig. They did not even stood up at the encore. Can you believe that ?
Seems that this was some kind of charity evening and most of the seated people probably did not know Papa's music. Anyway, how can you remain seated during Gettin' tighter ?

I'll post the full set-list + some of the 274 pictures Jerome took....
Will try to do it this evening or tomorrow.

These were a bunch of Italians?
    In Italy?
Did anybody check to see if they were dead?

But I'm glad that YOU had a great time :)

A thousand thanks to Matt, his band, Colin & of course to Glenn for this wonderful italian week end.

When we got back home yesterday, Jerome asked me : when is the Athens gig ????

    :ghcp:

  • Thanks for the report and pics Nathalie. Good to see you had a great time !! So, are you going to Athens??

"if only we'd turn around and notice the door to the cell is open"

  • Thanks for your comments guys !

David, the sound was really great in this theater. This venue is generally used for opera and was renovated a few years ago. It reminded me of Shepherds Bush.

Concerning Greece, of course I would love to but it will be difficult to be on the 9th in Athens and on the 11th in Norwich cause we have to work a little bit in between gigs
