well I've found loads of great bands and solo artists in myspace, but as my likes are very eclectic I'll tell you about one, two actually but related, that I think can be of interest here!!
the first is a band called BURN... hehehe do you guess why? they are from Israel and make great covers but now they are making their own stuff and sound great:
