David, can you tell me if this DVD is an "all zone" ???
Before pre-ordering at the shop, I would like to be sure.

The DVD is still not listed on Amazon in the UK as being available in the near future, does any one know the likely release date for UK and Europe. Hopefully sometime before Christmas!

Can any one lucky enough to own it, please give a quick review.

The CD and DVD have just been put out on www.cdon.com and the release date is set to November 26th!!!

I don't know if is this a special date for Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland...

Since the Euro is very strong at the moment, I have now ordered the DVD via the GHPG shop at amazon.com
Ordered the CD from an eBay seller in the US - again, because of the strong Euro.
See what happens... I'll keep you updated.

Don't hold your breath for the DVD to arrive next week - I got a message from Amazon yesterday saying the release had been pushed back to December!

In related news, I received my 'Live in Australia' CD today in the mail. For the most part, it's a welcome twist to some of Glenn's material to have the songs performed acoustically, with strings and all. At the same time, I think Big Daddy should have reined in his performances a bit on songs like "Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Nights in White Satin". They're a bit much at times, and would have been more effective if sung more in line with the spirit of the acoustic show.

The liners and photos are very nice, and the overall performance is quite good. I'm anxious to see what I think of the performance when experienced sonically and visually on the DVD.

Thoughts?

Hmm...interesting. I just placed my order of the DVD and the notice said it was expected to be shipped sometime during the week of the 15th....this month

Thanks for the update.

Can you confirm that all the tracks are from the Basement set on 17th June '06 ? - I base the question on the fact the cover just says 'Live in Australia' & of course he played an acoustic set the next night in Melbourne.

I also see 'This House' was dropped from the CD but was on the Sydney set list.

Ha,I've just found this link re the DVD at CDxpress in the UK.I've used them in the past but not for some while.Seems like it's been available to PAL/NTSC/All Regions users since 3rd Sep(?!):
