What is the history of the song "Still In Love With You" written by Glenn Hughes?

...i think it has developed out of a soundcheck to showcase his vocal abilities/gymnastics
i also think he wanted to tell his fans that he was still in love with us...
also in the early / mid nineties he switched from solo-vox to bass and back and maybe wanted to see what audience reaction would be when standing behind a keyboard
all in all a great song -
Spooky or what? Just mentioned this song on a post I made a couple of minutes ago!
Sadly, I believe its only officially available on the BJL CD,which is excellent.
Have also seen it on bootleg DVD 'Live Like a Fire', Copenhagen 1994,in which Glenn incorporates 'Your Love Is Like A Fire' before launching into 'Coast to Coast' ! -
all in all a great song
Not to insult you, Ad, but.....WHAT SONG?
"Still in Love with You" is only Glenn finagling around with the opening lines
of what SHOULD HAVE BEEN a really lovely song.
If I remember correctly, we GHCPs had a big campaign on the 2 web sites
to complain to Glenn to "finsh" writing this song. (It's only about 30 seconds.)
Hasn't happened yet
PS, Ben..............There are 2 versions of "Burning Japan Live."
"Still in Love with You" is only on the Japanese import version.
A few other songs are included on that CD as well. -

Big Daddy really needs to beef that song out - he does on the aforementioned Copenhagen DVD with 'YLILAF' incorporated
BTW just checked my copy of BJL & it is the German release of 1995 on the Steamhammer label .It has 'Still...' running in at a mighty 2 minutes 10 seconds -
cause i'm still in love with
what am i gonna do
all thru the night
i've been waiting for you
calling your name
girl do you feel the same
now the daylight has gone
how can i carry on
can i see your face
anytime, any place
yep it is just a very long intro-thingy
for a soundcheck it is realy good; from real quiet vocals to very loud and 'agressive'
would be great to make it a real song
