Ah yes, those are from the Drum Off show in Hollywood, back in 2003 - more from that gig here - a great show, one of the best I've seen him do, even though it was only a few songs long.

That last shot from the Trapeze pics with Glenn is a great shot!! Years ago I almost bought a box of 35mm slides of Trapeze from dealer in the UK. It was an auction (way before ebay) and I was in contact with the dealer who was also going to let me have the copyright to them (don't ask how he was going to do that.....I don't know). Well, to make a long story short......the offer to buy them was at a time when I didn't really have a great deal of money. I passed on them and I feel like kicking myself in the arse ever since! He sent me three of the slides (as a sample of what he had) and one of them was a publicity photo of the group from the Hot Wire album!

I always wonder if there was some recording of that concert with John and Chad ? -
hi,
I always wonder if there was some recording of that concert with John and Chad ?The venue, House of Blues, did their own in house recording as they do for most of the gigs they host. But nothing has surfaced yet elsewhere unfortunately. It was a stunning performance by all 3 musicians, GLENN was on top form, Chad Smith and John Frusciante blew me way with their playing on the Purple numbers.
So yeah, hopefully one day, something will show-up from this gig. -
Thanx for the pics!!!!There great!!!

Great stuff! That middle one of Mel (FC1002), thats the suit that Glenn gave him, as worn on the California Jam.
