  • Nothing in California?
That's a big surprise to me.

Well, let's see how well these "classic rockers" do on tour.
It......MIGHT.....give some tour promoters an education.
    (Hint, hint.) :) :)

  • Finally, the USA gets a jolt of great music :D
Grace, I am sure they will fill arenas at all shows :singer: :singer:
Conchita, get on your travel shoes and keep in touch, maybe we can get you here for a show, and maybe get that Pete dude to join you!!!!! :bouncer: :bouncer: :clapper: :clapper:

    You betcha' Frank.
And I don't care how un-realistic people think that an
    all-line-ups Deep Purple and/or GH/DC reunion concert
    might be........

I'm still drinking my morning coffee from "that" coffee cup.
    It's gonna' happen.

  • Ah I'd love to..and so would Pete!

It would bring back so many memories...they were the first band I ever saw (and it was at MSG!) 25 years ago last month....and I still got the ticket stub!

  • More dates will be added - Chicago, Detroit, various California gigs....don't worry. I hear tickets will range from $50 to $250. This is at the top of my must-see shows for 2007.

Take a look at the ticket price: $13.00 In a good seat at MSG  :D I remember seeing The Who for a week at MSG in 1974 at the prices of $6.00 up to 12.00 For floor seats :p

$250.00 To see god perform miracles is even high  And to imagine hearing muddled music in a large arena at that price makes me yearn more and more for the old days

First time I saw The Police was in a club called The Decade in Pittsburgh...They were an unknown, and cover was $4.00 :clapper: They were magnificent then and i am sure will still be so today.
Anyhow...Will still have to go to at least one show :clapper:  But if Big Daddy is doing a good sized tour I may eschew The Police for extra GH shows.

  • Yeah $250.00 is a bit too much but I've heard that the cheapest seats will go for 50 ( which I wouldn't mind, cause when I saw them the second time at Shea Stadium I had nosebleed seats but it was great!)

But as you say....if Big Daddy finally does a great US tour....grab it while you can!
