One clip is just a clean straight clip of his new amp (clone of a Matchless Spitfire). We got a new digital recorder. I have been having fun playing with the new bells and whistles on it. I am always floored by Roger's ability to create music off the cuff...I have yet to stump him. Basically, I would pick out a drum pattern, hand Roger his guitar and the head phones and tell him to play - he did bass, rhythm, and lead tracks and I mixed and downloaded them. I am truly blown away by what he came up with on these clips.

Man, these are GREAT!!
You really know how to play Roger.
Achim is gonna have to rise to the challenge
Funky sounds like something from the tommy bolin archives.
Blues is my favourite. love the tone.
no, wait. Funked up almost country is my favourite.
The clips all have sudden endings. We need the full thing.
Can i put some on my MySpace page when my overhaul is complete? -
WOW!!!
Fantastic, Roger, absolutely brilliant!
And the sound...... what can I say
Thanks for posting this, Susan!
Roger, have you ever listened to the first album by British Prog-Rockers U.K. from 1977? There's a guitar intro in the last song on the album ("Mental Medication") by Allan Holdsworth which is similiar in style to your "clean amp clip". Fantastic!
That first clip has really blown me away!
Listening to the others now....

Listening to my hero Glenn and thinking about my hero Mel...well, I've been feeling funky!!! Time to get back to playing.
I appreciate y'all listening. I am going to do a CD of just my playing soon....in the vein of most of this....the funky, blues, and stuff. I won't blow through it like this, though, I will work at it slightly more. LOL
Thanks again!

Hi again Roger,
Thanks for the PM! Just a quick message to let you know (and Tony too) I was pointing you to the wrong U.K. song
That's the intro of "Nevermore" from the first U.K. album, I was refering to.
I have attached the 1 minute snippet now for your listening pleasure
And bear in mind when you compare the two, that Holdsworth's clip uses overdubs...
Cheers,
Christian -
I remembered that song instantly, and I haven't heard it in decades. Beautiful. Allan is from another planet. LOL
